In my opinion, it was alright. Not the best BBQ I’ve ever had in Atlanta Metro, but also not the “worth it” in terms of price as well. From the moment we came, i didn’t know that i can or should order online. Heads up, you should order online and it’ll take 20-30 mins to prepare your order. After that, it was missing some plastic utensils and sauces.

The food : brisket fries was REALLY good, definitely worth the price. Ribs, spicy korean pork and other things were just okay. They are tender and smoked well, but missing something

Overall, it was good experience and i hope to give them another visit whenever i pass by the area.

Absolutely delicious! The food was prepared quickly, maybe a 5 min wait. Had the Korean spicy pork sandwich, 1/2 slab of ribs, mac n cheese, and tempura sweet potatoes. Everything was very good. It’s mainly a take out restaurant but there are some high top tables on a side courtyard/patio area where you can stand and eat with some cool murals of the owners and various entertainers. I will definitely be back.

Heirloom Market BBQ is a very casual fast food place for takeout or standup eating or catering. One can order online or in store. Its has adequate though not abundant parking. The food is tasty and well cooked with a fusion of typical BBQ and Korean spices. There is no seating, they have a few standup tables in the covered outdoor area that one can eat at, with heaters on the walls for comfort during cold days.
Service is very fast and friendly. They accept credit cards.
Good place for a takeout BBQ or quick meal. Portions are filling.

I am Korean but grew up in the USA as well as Korea. I was actually a huge fan of Jiyeon Lee in the 1980s in Korea (내겐 아픔이었네, 바람아 멈추어다오)! I didn’t even speak Korean back then but liked her music. Pretty much every guy in school had a massive crush on her but I digress…

I came to Atlanta to visit my son at GT and made sure to stop by Heirloom for some BBQ. I knew that it would be sort of fusion Korean + Texas BBQ and the food was awesome!

I had the brisket, Korean spicy pork, and spare ribs. I wanted to try a lot of the sides so had the Mac & cheese, green tomato kimchi, fries, traditional cole slaw, bbq beans, and Brunswick stew.

For sauces I got table, kitchen, Korean bbq, and settler.

Price was good and not too expensive.

First the meats. The brisket was excellent. Good mix of fat and lean meat since I was served the point. Korean pork was more like chopped pork but marinated in gochujang Korean style. It was good but slightly overcooked and hard so I prefer the traditional Korean bbq pork. The spare ribs were good but slightly overcooked as well (so a little dry).

The sides were excellent. The green tomato kimchi was especially good and the perfect blend of Korean + southern! Bbq beans was full of meat as well as beans. Brunswick stew was new to me but also excellent. The traditional slaw was some of the best I have ever had. Fries were good and similar to the fries at 5 guys (which is a good thing). The Mac and cheese was soft and gooey the way it should be!

The sauces were also good. Table was pretty traditional as was the settler (nice vinegar sauce typical of south Carolina style, etc.). Kitchen was nice and spicy and was my favorite. The Korean bbq tasted like sweet gochujang…also good but I preferred the kitchen since it was less sweet.

Overall, a winner and I am so glad I was able to stop by. I placed an order for pick up on the website about 15 minutes before going there and when I got there I waited about 10 minutes. It was not crowded when I went there at around 6:30pm on a weekday.

Unfortunately I did not get to see Jiyeon Lee in person as I don’t think she was there. But maybe next time?

So nice to eat some great BBQ! They should play some of her old music on the speakers here….

I’ve never been to a restaurant that has tables that you can’t sit at. We ended up ordering takeout and eating it in the parking lot, in the car. When you first pull up to the restaurant, the storefront is a bit off-putting, being on the side of a convenience station, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
You have to order your food through a QR code, and pay online. The actual BBQ is alright at best. I ordered the chopped Brisket, and it was pretty bland and dry without the sauce. The portion size is decent.
The Macaroni and Cheese is extremely bland. It was literally Macaroni shells in a cheese sauce. I’m not sure why this restaurant was named the best BBQ in Atlanta, but I probably will not be returning.

Was recommended this place online by many websites and it lives up to the hype. In a very unassuming shopping market you wouldn’t expect such darn good food. It’s an Atlanta MUST to at least try this place. The workers and the food were exceptional and very much worthy of their spot on the Michelin guide.

Delicious BBQ with an Asian accent.
Walk up or order ahead. There’s a really cool covered patio/deck area to stand and eat. Service was helpful & quick. 100% would come here again.

Interesting way to service with the
Online orders. It is fast and efficient. The Brunswick Street was very good. The brisket sandwich had a good amount of meat and it was flavorful. We will come back to this place again

I was looking for something unique for a manager who was leaving our company, as a farewell lunch, and went with Heirloom Market BBQ. This BBQ restaurant is a Michelin recommended restaurant, Bib Gourmand. Both Texas BBQ and Korean flavors combine into an unbelievable, savory, sweet, smoky blend of perfection. Erin, their Catering Manager, assisted me with my order and recommended amounts for the number of guests being served. She personally delivered the food, hot, delicious, set up, sauces, everything. Guests raved and could not get enough of the BBQ. I would definitely try the brisket, ribs, wings, Mac and cheese, collards, bbq beans. Everything was so delicious that I forgot to take photos!
Thank you Heirloom Market BBQ!

The food is amazing. I didn’t know but Kimchi goes great with bbq, radish salad was even better. Andreas, the manager, checked in with us several times to make sure we didn’t need anything. It is only my second time eating with Heirloom and that’s only because I live 3.5 hours away. Total worth the drive.
