Reviews
My company ordered catering for holiday lunch. We had brisket, smoked turkey, baked beans and potato salad.
The brisket was surprisingly still moist and was super flavorful. Pretty solid!
The turkey was thinner sliced so it became a little dry after transfer and set up. I think if the slices were thicker it could have retained more of the moisture.
Baked beans were actually tasty, not so sauced up but looser consistency.
Potato salad, pass. Just not really much favor.
Overall, solid brisket. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
Heim BBQ offers a reliably good barbecue experience, serving up meat that is undeniably tender. The brisket, in particular, was beautifully cooked—soft and yielding—which is the fundamental goal of good BBQ. However, I found myself waiting for that edge or defining flavor profile to really make it memorable. While the texture was perfect, the seasoning or smoke flavor was surprisingly basic and needed an extra layer of complexity to elevate it from “good” to “great.” The same sentiment applies to the overall experience; the menu felt very straightforward, and nothing truly blew me away. The portions also felt a little on the small side given the price point. The most promising item was the Green Chili Mac and Cheese—a fantastic concept that demonstrates real creativity. Unfortunately, the flavor didn’t quite come through, as the green chiles were muted and lacked the characteristic warmth and gentle heat I was expecting. A strong, flavorful mac and cheese side could easily push this review up to five stars. Overall, Heim is a worthy stop for tender smoked meats, but they could greatly benefit from dialing up the seasoning and letting their innovative side dishes truly shine. Atmosphere is lacking, tables outside are literally on the highway/airport landing zone, got a juicy hamburger and it came without sides, fries, anything…
The brisket was dry. Coleslaw was dry mac and cheesecwas ok.if it was hot it didn’t stay warm. It was 1 pm.just past lunch it looked busy I dont know what people get
Plenty of seating inside and outside as well with great atmosphere.
It’s not the cheapest but good barbecue rarely is and the quality is very high so it’s worth it if you don’t mind splurging a bit.
Would love for a manager to reach out, to see if anybody is alive or cares there. (Nobody at the restaurant did)

I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage sandwich with fries. I also tried my companion’s brisket. I liked the sausage but it didn’t blow me away. I think the bread got in the way. I think different bread would work better than what I had. It was too sweet. The brisket was about the same . It wasn’t bad, but just ok.
I think if you are a local, you would probably explore other options first. I also think if you don’t eat barbecue regularly, you will enjoy it. Still, it’s decent and convenient. Check out Heim and tell me what you think.
