I went based on the high rating. I was really disappointed. I should have know from the start. When one of the staff came out in a dirty tee shirt, shorts, and flip flops. The food was not edible. We only ate a 1/3 of our plates. The Bun Bo Hue 1 out of 10. The Porkchop did not taste like Porkchop 1 out of 10. Also every time someone walked around the restaurant. The automatic door kept on opening. That was annoying.

We decided to try Heidi’s Teriyaki Express based on the strong reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The food was just okay—nothing terrible, but not memorable either. Most of the chicken dishes we ordered had heavy, burnt grill marks that affected the flavor, and overall, the quality felt more like a 3 out of 5.

We ordered four dishes, and one came out wrong—we asked for beef but received pork instead. Mistakes happen, but it added to the sense that things were a bit off that day. Maybe it was a different cook or just an off shift.

I also placed a to-go order, and when I arrived to pick it up, they couldn’t find it at first. Turns out they had filed it under my last name, which caused a bit of confusion. Not a huge deal, but it added a layer of inconvenience.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews because I know how hard small businesses work, and this might have just been a one-off. Still, I wanted to share our honest experience in case it helps others or the restaurant improve.

I have been going here for the past 6 years nearly every other week with my boyfriend, we always say Heidi’s has the best pho in silverdale! Absolutely love the service as well, we’re always greeted with a warm welcome and our order is even memorized by them! We will never get tired of the comfort and quality of the food from Heidi’s.

We have been going to Heidi’s for over 15 years. The food is always delicious, friendly staff, and it’s always a place we keep on our take out rotation. Some of our favorites are the orange chicken/tofu, steak and brisket pho, lemongrass chicken, and teriyaki chicken.

I’ve been going to Heidi’s for over 20 years, dating back to the original owners. In all that time, I’ve never once had a bad experience.

The “new” owners are incredibly friendly and work hard to ensure a great dining experience by every guest.

The food never misses and the General’s Chicken is my absolute favorite in town. Their Pho and Teriyaki are also delicious, but it’s hard for me to deviate from my regular order whenever I go in.

If you’ve never gone, give them a try and support a truly local mom and pop business. You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and Spicy Chicken Teriyaki to go.
Each order came with the chicken on a bed of rice, with Ramen noodles and a small ball of rice as sides. I personally prefer vegetables with my teriyaki, so I was a little disappointed in the ramen.
The spicy was way hotter than I expected, but otherwise, the meal was what I’d consider average.

Get the Heidi’s Special. It comes with chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki and pork teriyaki served with white rice and some noodles. There’s also a egg roll included. Super delicious and satisfying. Oh and you get a free fortune cookie

Many years I have avoided Heidi’s due to a family member not having the best experience with the food years prior.
November 12th, 2019, a couple of hours after shopping, I was starting to get hungry and decided it had been long enough, and I was ready to try it.
Walking in, I did notice it was a little bit on the smaller side, a little bit dated, it could use a little bit of an overhaul, but overall what I could see appeared to be clean!
Heidi’s has a fairly decent but good size menu that hosts a variety of Vietnamese food, from Teriyaki, Pho’s, Vermicelli Bowls to Lemongrass/Curry, Specialty dishes, and Veggie dishes, and many items in between.
I was extremely hungry for Teriyaki, so my choice was easy.
I ordered T9. It contained a 1/2 order of Teriyaki; I chose chicken, but my other choices were beef or pork. And it’s typically served with steamed rice, I opted out and paid the difference to have fried rice; Ouch three dollars more for fried rice, none the less I wanted fried rice and not white.
After waiting for around 10 or 15 minutes, my food arrived, the presentation was nice, not that there was anything extraordinary about it. Still, the teriyaki chicken was lying on a bed of fried rice; instead of a round ball of white rice next to a heap of teriyaki chicken, and the amount given was a reasonably decent portion
I noticed the teriyaki sauce was sweet but not to the extreme where I felt I was eating candy. It was a great balance of flavors and textures.
The prices I would say was a little bit on the higher side, but now that I know their food is good, I don’t mind as much and will return, even if the cost is higher.
Heidi’s Employees seemed friendly, not overly chatty though, but mannerly none the less.
I am unable to voice my opinion about the restroom.
For anyone not aware of Heidi’s location, they are across from Joann’s Fabrics; in fact, Heidi shares the parking lot with several other businesses, such as Joann’s, Staples, Rite Aid & Military recruiting offices.
If you haven’t tried this little restaurant, please do so, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how decent their food is, I know I was 😉

Stopped from out of town from Olympic. Delicious Pho Broth, very friendly atmosphere and a wide selection of other Vietnamese and Asian stir fries, curries and noodles. Ordered the beef salad and it was top tier.

Taste food in Silverdale.

Lunch time, so we dropped in
My husband had Orange Chicken with White Rice. I had the chicken Pho
Our total was about $29.

Order at the desk and sat and played the game of will we have a table available to eat in. There were quite a few tables all occupied . I didn’t mind waiting because I love to see small business thriving.
