I’ve been going to the SoPo Heidi’s for some time and it’s usually pretty good. Went yesterday and ordered the chicken salad, and felt disappointed. Maybe 3 ounces of meat. The second half of the sub was only slightly better than the pic provided.

Great service and amazing food. We had the bay bridge bomber and it was in fact the bomb. One of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had.
Thank you!

I started by ordering a kids meal that said came with milk, after being told it did not come with milk, I was offered and agreed to an uncharted for a chocolate milk. Someone (another employee) coughing uncontrollably come out of nowhere and said i would need to pay full price. I chose chips for our sides with our orders and I told my 4 year old granddaughter to pick her chips, the coughing employee then started shouting at me that they would give us chips. Still coughing over where food was being made. My order was made with the wrong bread and not good (to say the least). Then customers came in to eat with a dog. This place is crawling with germs! Before I left, I told the rougher she should put a mask on. Another customer thanked me for saying something and left. This place was disgusting.

Dropped into Heidi’s for a quick refuel and was greeted with warmth, flavor, and a breakfast burrito worthy of Jedi praise. The Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito—stuffed with scrambled eggs, potatoes, avocado, cheese, and green chile—was hearty without being heavy. Creamy, savory, and just enough heat to awaken even the sleepiest Padawan.
But the real lightsaber moment? The smoothies. Ordered the Hawaiian Hurricane and Caribbean Spice—both freshly blended and bursting with real fruit flavor. The Hurricane was smooth and bright, like sipping sunshine on Naboo. The Caribbean Spice? A mellow tropical blend with a whisper of cinnamon—subtle, warm, and perfectly balanced. No syrupy tricks—just the natural power of the fruit.
Friendly staff, fast service, and a menu with options from both the light side (vegetarian-friendly) and the meatier end of the galaxy.
Heidi’s is a solid stop on any South Portland mission. Order the burrito, sip the cinnamon, and let the flavor flow through you.

Great spot for a sandwich! Everything was fresh and staff was super nice. Only negative was price…20$ for a sandwich and drink is a bit much but I guess that’s the world now.

The fact they know my best friend by name and always greet us, recognize if we are missing someone, and often remember things we like speaks volumes. Their food is delicious, breads are seriously phenomenal. We love this place. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth the stop. Definitely have some fun but really awesomely paired sandwich items. Hands down the best French onion soup. 10/10!

I ordered the turkey wrap, and I think they totally skimped on the turkey! It’s way overpriced for what you actually get. Basically, it’s just expensive lettuce.

I can’t believe I have never been here. Tasty sandwiches and super friendly service. The baked goods look amazing, too. I was originally headed to Panera, and looked for something local instead. So glad!

The staff are friendly but the service is very slow. Maybe they’re understaffed, but they were not equipped to handle the lunch rush. Only about six people in front of me and I waited in line for more than 10 minutes just to order. To make matters worse, the to go order I received was the to go order of the woman who ordered in front of me. I didn’t realize this until I got back to work. Ending up with a veggie wrap when I ordered a turkey sandwich was a serious let down.
