My sister ordered a cake here for my baby shower and I really like how it turned out! They did a good job following the cake designs I sent over. I added the cake topper and little balls on the side. The cake itself was pretty delicious too and the guests loved them. We got vanilla cake with bavarian cream (strawberries). Would definitely order from here again ☺️

We had our wedding in June, and they did an amazing job with our cake! It turned out exactly as the reference photo I shared, truly my dream wedding cake had come to life. The owner was very kind and accommodating. He gave us a sweet tasting session with many delicious flavors (it was hard to choose because everything was delicious :)).
We went with a vanilla cake with strawberries, and it was perfect.

BEST CAKE IN THE SOUTH OC! I ordered a Bavarian vanilla sponge cake for my Husband’s birthday and it was AMAZING! The cake was so soft, rich and flavorful and the decorations where done just as requested! Give this place a chance on your special occasion cakes and you will be surprised!

Picked up the Black Forest cake, apple strudel and apple danish this morning. So delicious! Not too sweet & perfect balance of cake to filling. Pastries are fresh and authentic German style. I order my son’s birthday cake every year from here too. Prices are reasonable and food quality exceeds expectations. I love supporting this local family bakery!

A friend referred me to this bakery for our Baby Shower cake and we just fell in love with it. Jeanette served me with such warmth and sweetness. When my daughter’s father-in-law went to pick up the cake, it was so perfect! It was made exactly the way I had requested and everyone raved about the cake. Many asked me for the name of the bakery. My in-law even told me Jeanette and the tall gentleman who served him are so kind. The cake is also very reasonably priced. Just love this place.!

We ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s first birthday, it was a white cake with strawberry cream filled inside. It was decorated so beautifully with such minute details. Genius! It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The guests who usually order their birthday cakes from one of the grocery stores or some bakeries in Irvine were pleasantly surprised by it. We had to give each one of them Heidelberg pastry Shop’s name and address. We also had their cupcakes for the party which tasted utterly delicious, and were over within minutes.

I have been coming to Heidelberg bakery for 30 years and they have never disappointed! We celebrate 3 birthdays annually always get their strawberry cake in June, my brother gets a German chocolate cake in July, and my husband gets a black forest cake in August. They’re all made with the best quality ingredients and they turn out the most delicious cakes!
