I recently hosted a Galentine’s party dinner at Hef’s Hut for a group of 20 ladies, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was beautifully set up when we arrived, which made the night feel so special and stress-free. The manager Kathy was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the planning process, making everything easy to organize and ensuring every detail was taken care of.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish — even with a larger group. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was a hit and timed to perfection — and all of my guests kept talking about how impressed they were with the overall experience. The drink specials were so festive! If you’re looking for a place to host an event or just enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend Hef’s Hut. We’ll definitely be back!

We hosted our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner here for 40 guests. Planning from Texas for a New Jersey wedding could have been stressful, but Kathy and her staff made everything seamless.
The venue is charming and cozy, the food was amazing and plentiful, and the drinks from the bar were excellent. Our guests had a wonderful time, and we received many compliments throughout the evening.
Kathy and her staff truly went above and beyond. She was easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and very accommodating with a few special requests that were not part of the standard venue rental.
Even though I don’t live in New Jersey, if I did, this would absolutely be my go-to place for hosting gatherings and celebrations.

We had the VTHS end of year volleyball banquet here, and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was so accommodating and friendly and food was delicious. They made the whole night feel special and stress-free. Everyone had a great time, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the season. Highly recommend for any event or gathering! This place was amazing. I had gone to a diner earlier since this place was closed for bfast and, I felt like I wasn’t my time bc I could’ve just saved my WHOLE appetite for this spot.
I ordered a Bloody Mary- spectacular(I’m pretty picky) and I ordered a couple of other drinks and when I tell you they were perfect …. PERFECT. Stephanie and Jillian were amazing. Felt so welcomed and cozy in there. There’s also a dart board that was super fun to play. Very chill location, just sad I didn’t get to try the food. Will be coming back tho fersure 🙂
Btw- The place is a little hard to find but once you do, it’s a gem. Also its right next to the former playboy hotel and it’s such a cool site to see

Don’t think twice. Come here! Food and staff was top notch best I’ve had in a long time. Omg amazing chef I’d give a 10 star if possible. Made our special night even more glorious. Thank you for the free dessert and having the head chef bring us everything. Such a romantic place. Eat outside if you can because wow. Just wow.

Had an amazing graduation party here for my daughter. Everything from the scheduling and booking to the day of the event, staff and personnel were outstanding! Customized food package and bar service made my choices perfect for my event. The food was amazing, service was fantastic, but the venue is just beautiful. My daughter’s bridal shower was at Hef’s Hut on Sunday. It was wonderful ! The food was amazing. The room was perfect, but most importantly, the staff was so attentive and so pleasant, they definitely made the event a success. Yesterday, I celebrated my 30th birthday with my husband at Hef’s Hut Bar and Grill, and it was an unforgettable evening! The chef’s dinner was a true culinary masterpiece. The presentation of the Caesar salad was absolutely stunning and unexpected! I’m from Europe and have tried many Caesar salads, but this one was hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband was thrilled with the burger—juicy, flavorful, and simply perfect.
I also want to highlight the attention to detail: the chef personally came out to ask if we enjoyed everything, which added such warmth to the evening.
