We came here on a Sunday around 1pm.
There was a good size crowd, but we were able to find a table. You order at the counter and they call you when the order is ready. When we went to the counter, the lady let us know the wait was about 20-25 minutes. It made sense doing the amount of people here and it looked like they only had one chef working. We ended up waiting 25 minutes. The drink options were all soda cans and we got root beer. I ordered the Fatty Patty with a single patty and it was flavorful and filling. My husband ordered the Wicked Piggy with two patties and he enjoyed it. We also ordered the Kimchi Cheese Fries. I personally have never had Kimchi before and I don’t think I would get that again. The fries were well covered with the cheese sauce which was nice. I just wish they had a simple bacon and cheese fries option for their loaded fries.

Heff’s Burger Club has good food but it’s definitely on the overpriced side. The smash burger was fresh and flavorful, but the patty was paper thin. It really needed another patty or a little more substance to feel worth the price. I would double it next time. The loaded fries were good and came out hot and fresh.
Service is okay. You order at the counter, pay, and they call your name when it’s ready. Just be aware it’s self-service, no table service and you’re expected to clean up after yourself. Not a bad spot for a quick bite, but the value could be better for what you get.

Wowwww! First time here and I had an outstanding experience. The vibe inside is super chill, the server was super kind, and the food was delicious. I got the Wicked Piggy and it was exactly like the description, and then some. Love a good smash burger, and look at the way that cheese is melted inside!! The fries were good as well and the ranch was super solid.

There are a lot of reviews out there. Had to go confirm. Burgers were unique and very tasty. I had the Wicked Piggy burger and the Nelson loaded fries. Reviews confirmed. It was not inexpensive but would do it again.

The fries are amazing, and come in large portions only. The burgers are good, but not particularly special imo. The atmosphere is amazing. Lots of happy people and cool decorations. Drinks were all cans. We got 2 of their burgers, two different types of fries. And 2 cans of soda, came out to around 60 after tip.
The hours are more or less arbitrary as far as I can’t tell though. There were posted hours on the door. And a sign that said closed until 3. Seeing how we already paid for parking down the road. We went ahead and waited for it to open an hour later.
Upon opening. It was full of customers, IMMEDIATELY. This may or may not explain the random closing, maybe they run out of food quickly, who knows. That being said, it was great food, but whether or not it would be worth the wait is highly subjective.

My wife and I were in the mood to go get some dinner and after taking a quick Look at my “want to try” list in Google, I chose Heff’s Burger Club. Heff’s has been popping up on several local chat groups for best burger so I was wondering excited about giving them a try. We showed up around 5pm on a Friday afternoon. There were a few folks sitting and eating and a delivery driver waiting on an order so there was some activity but they were by no means swamped. After briefly browsing the menu we ordered 2 Lady Killers and a basket of fries. The fries were fresh and hot, well seasoned and delicious. Overall the burger tasted good but it was not without its issues. The burger patties were thin even for a smashburger and the toppings were a bit mushy like they had been sitting around on the counter all day waiting for us to show up. Honestly, our burgers weren’t any better than your average chain burger. With that said, the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a cool local burger joint ambiance. Bottom line is I might stop by for a quick burger if I was in the neighborhood but Heff’s is not the best burger in the triad.

Got the Lady killer double, wanted the mama possum but something was going on with the chilli, but food is good flavorful, fries seasoned my dipping sauce was the spicy ketchup. The burger itself fooled me it was overflowing past the bun so I thought it was bigger than what it was. Personally I was full by this meal, so I would order two burgers or a burger and hot dog if they have chilli next time. If I’m in Winston and want a burger beside cin cin, I’ll be back.

This is no basic burger spot, you come for the authenticity! Easily one of the best smashburgers I’ve had. The patty had those perfect crispy edges while staying juicy inside, the bun was soft but sturdy, and every topping worked together without overpowering the burger. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming, the kind of spot that makes you want to come back regularly!
Love supporting a locally owned business that clearly puts heart into what they do. Highly recommend!!!

Food was okay. It was expensive for what it was. We got 2 double fatty patties, ranch fries, reg fries, and 3 can drinks(no fountain drinks available) and it was 52$. Due to its location downtown the parking sucked. We had to use the parking deck which costed us 7$. It was ok if you are on that side of town but i definitely wouldnt make a special trip for it. NICKS OLD FASHION BURGERS in Welcome NC is definitely a better choice overall for smash burgers. The food is cheaper and better in my opinion. Plus the parking and atmosphere is better.

I enjoyed my experience a couple weeks ago. Someone bought me my lunch so, I could be wrong, but I think there was a lunch special- single patty, side of fries and a drink. Not sure the cost but given the rising prices of EVERYTHING, I’m pretty sure it was a good deal.
I got the Ladykiller. The taste was great- not too salty, yummy pickles (home made?) and the fries were actually seasoned! The staff was friendly and I am pleased they are LGBTQ-friendly.
