The food was amazing everything was going perfect. We came to celebrate my friends birthday. Then the check came and we where getting charged already for the tip. We already had an amount put aside for the tip and honestly the service was so bad. We would call someone over and could only get one question out. They also would give attitude. It was such a bad experience. The tip was “Mandatory!” Please read the white little paper in the table. We where unaware of this rule because this has never happened before. The service was so bad I would have to get up and ask them to refill my water and not just that I was not finished with my water….They took my cup and never brought it back. Be aware of the fine print. The service before was perfect but this new management is bad. We got told they could remove the mandatory tip with a manager code and then some guy came and said that didnt exist?!?!? I came in happy and excited only to leave furious

The servers are so sweet. Even on a busy day they were so attentive and sweet. We didn’t just have 1 server they all stopped at our table and made sure we were taken care of. The food so yummy overall! Made us feel very comfortable even when there was a huge party of like 25. Thanks Heemo Sushi

This place is so good!!! The moment i walking in, they all greeted us. And get seated very quick. I ordered Mr. mango , ohhh it was soo good! So refreshing with mango. I really enjoyed everything. The selection of the menu are huge. So so many dishes you can ordered, from fresh sushi, baked or fried, alos have ramen , udon and just so many many options. Even have bento box and rice bowls.
The service also realy really good, it can get really busy. But my food come out in a good time.
The chef that day Jay, Nathan and Ray absolutely fun guy! All very kind and friendly!

A Hidden Gem in Chino Hills!
I stumbled upon Heemo Sushi – Chino Hills and was blown away! I ordered the Sunkist Roll—a delicious twist on a California roll with fresh salmon and tuna. Every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. The fish was incredibly fresh and the roll was beautifully plated.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. To top it off, I treated myself to a macaron ice cream for dessert, and wow—it was the perfect sweet ending!
Definitely coming back. This place is a must-visit for sushi lovers in the area.

Delicious sushi! We decided to go here as a group and they were able to sit us immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful and ensured we were taken care of. As for the food, it is high quality, fresh and delicious. I will say. though, that the prices are a bit high. However, I still recommend this place to all sushi lovers!

Presentation presentation presentation, this place knows how to make rolls look SO GOOD… and not only that, the size of the rolls were ginormous! I was really impressed with the combination of flavors in a lot of these rolls, specifically the Texas roll which had the salsa on top. I’m not one for Cajun styled sushi and even though this is a little different than that I really enjoyed the mix of the fresh fish and roll with the sweet Asian fusion salsa. The spicy garlic edamame is actually spicy so be cautious for those sensitive! The employees were attentive and gave great service to my party, we were all very impressed for most of us being our first time here. They have upbeat music playing and it gave a great vibe for an evening out.

What a hidden gem! This place’s sushi is exceptionally fresh, the place is immaculate and great, attentive service!
The sushi rolls have about twice the amount of fish in them than other local places (and we have tried them all). Wonderful specialty rolls and all the traditional favorites! You can’t go wrong here! Even has many non-sushi options.
Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!

I can’t stop coming back! Best sushi in Chino Hills. The fishes are so fresh. Plating is beautiful. The rolls are amazing – highly recommend “Miss Gaga” – avocado, tuna, salmon & 2 other fishes, wrapped with krab meat & soy paper (no rice). The eel hand roll has 3 pieces of eel – A LOT of eel for any Japanese restaurant. Also recommend soft shell crab (so much crab meat). I wish more people know more about this restaurant. Service has room for improvement; if the servers are more warm & friendly, I think it will be a great customer experience.

Replaced the Sushi restaurant that used to be here, so decided to give them a try. Ordered a few rolls and some udon as well as a ramen combo. Food came out fast and tasted great. Thanks for the hospitality. Update, can’t believe this is same restaurant and the food is unrecognizable! The sushi rolls were disgustingly covered in some weird glaze that made them look horrible. Our ramen looked like no name brand noodles in the bowl, clumping together. Worst $75 spent in a long time, I feel bad for the server because as soon as our check arrived, the cashier dude somehow lost her $20 cash tip on the way to register to ring up card. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the low standards that have become the norm here.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed. Portion sizes were much larger than other sushi restaurants we have visited in the past, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The prices were comparable to the quality and quantity of the servings. Food came out quick and service was excellent. So if you’re craving sushi you should definitely try this spot!
