Hed 11 is a true hidden gem. The flavors are outstanding. If you’re looking for a seafood-forward menu, well-balanced modern Thai flavors or a special occasion date night place, this is your place.

The 8 course dinner tasting menu is a good amount of food but we had no regrets about adding the lobster pad thai. A lot of thought when into the menu, including the beautiful plates and composition. Seafood and fish are fresh and dishes were balanced (on the spicy side).

I went to the restaurant for their Valentine’s Day special.
I honestly did not understand why the menu was more expensive than their regular dinner menu, just because they added in a rose and a Polaroid.
Honestly, the food was very disappointing for the price we paid.

Thai style, coconut pancake with caviar – 3/5 – nothing impressive, I think this was the only fresh thing that we had in our meal.

Dungeon is crab curry with sticky rice – 4/5 – I really liked it, but the portion size was literally smaller than my finger tip.

Fried mushroom salad – 1/5 – since we don’t eat beef, the chef substituted the beef in the salad into a mushroom and it was so disappointing, the mushroom was chewy, not at all crispy as we were expecting it to be. It felt like it was sitting under the heat lamp for hours before it was served to us.

Hokkaido Scallop Phlaa – 4/5 – this was a greatest and tasted really fresh, and the grapefruit went really well with the scallops.

Winter, wild mushroom curry – 1/5 – this was so disappointing again. The mushrooms looked like they were fried, and even though they poured the curry in front of us at the table. The mushroom had no crispness, all I could take to when I bit into the mushroom was oil and starch that was used to fry the mushroom. It is probably left under the heat lamp again for a long period of time.

Lychee Yum with Crispy Fried Bass – 4/5 – I’ve never had fruits with fish before, so this was something new that I had never tasted before and it actually was really good.

Shrimp Green Curry with Heart of Palm – 2/5 this was also very disappointing. I didn’t exactly taste any flavour profiles in the green curry. It was served Kale with oyster sauce, and it actually tasted better than the curry did.

Honey Kumquat Sorbet – 0/5 – this was so sour and had rinds of the Kumquat in the sorbet. It was not a good pallet cleanser at all.

Fresh Young Coconut cake – 2/5 – Didn’t seem fresh at all, the cake was dry and i didn’t like it.

Yuzu Chocolate Bonbon – Not a fan of dark chocolate with bitter notes of yuzu

Thai tea tart – 4/5 – I wish this dish was bigger than a penny. It actually tasted really good. I love Thai tea, so I loved the flavour in a tart.

We dined here for a special birthday dinner in January. Both of us got one drink each and the eight* course tasting menu with the add on of the lobster pad thai dish. We enjoyed most of the dishes served to us. Lots of flavors to enjoy with each different course. Our server accidentally brought us an extra dish meant for a different table so we enjoyed that one as well . Banana ice cream dessert was a cute way to end the meal!

I had a very pleasant evening dining at Hed 11. Originally, I booked the bar seating so that I wouldn’t have to be locked into a tasting menu. However, the 8-course menu seemed like a great deal at ~$100 and had a variety of different options like seafood, lamb, and optional add-ons. The waitress, Viola, was extremely kind and asked the chef if we could switch our reservation to a tasting. They were very accommodating and did so quickly.

My favorite part of the entire tasting menu was the Andy Warhol inspired dessert. It was a frozen coconut banana ice cream on top of a crispy, buttery, and slightly salty crumble that just paired perfectly in your mouth. I also enjoyed the spicy lamb curry and refreshing hamachi salad starter as well. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were undoubtedly Thai, yet distinct in their own way.

I will say that some of the cocktails were better than the others. My favorite was the vanilla yuzu one, but I found that the pandan and gin cocktail was heavily spirit-forward and lacked any sort of pandan flavoring.

Overall, it was a wonderful evening through and through. The staff are attentive, the ambiance is inviting yet polished, and the food is great. I would gladly come back again to try the 11-course tasting in the future!

It was meant to be a celebration/farewell dinner at this 2024 Michlin Guide restaurant. The three of us ordered the 8-course meal on the hed11 Holiday Menu plus some additions. The food quality was good. Each course was exquisite and beautifully presented. The taste of each course was great but not very impressive. The service was excellent, though.

Absolutely delicious food! I’ve been to Hed very a couple of times and was thrilled to celebrate my birthday at Hed11. The flavors felt familiar yet elevated, and every dish was packed with flavor. They even surprised us with a special banana dessert for the occasion, which was incredible.

From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, modern atmosphere that sets the tone for a great dining experience.

Hed 11’s spring – summer menu features 8/11 course meals made from high quality ingredients. Each dishes are perfectly cooked, with a great depth of flavor and just the right amount of heat.

Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Hed 11 is a must-visit.

I definitely recommend coming here for lunch! We came to celebrate a birthday, and in my reservation I made a note saying it was a birthday celebration. The indoor aesthetic is clean and wooden, and their pottery and plates matches that aesthetic. It is definitely a gorgeous interior which is cohesive with the menu and the overall aesthetic.

The lunch tasting menu is overall very filling and such a great price too! Just note that sparkling water costs $10, but it was good with way the meal. We also got a lychee mocktail, and that was yummy and light without being overpowering. I got the seafood tasting menu, and my boyfriend got the vegan tasting menu. My favorite part was the shrimp, which I mixed with the wild rice (great decision). In the vegan tasting menu, the best course was the first one, where they have some table side explanation of what the meal is and pour the coconut curry over the tofu and pineapple pieces. The dessert was also good, I was impressed by how flavorful they made the sorbet!

The waiter was so nice, and we even got a birthday Mango Sticky Rice inspired dessert!

I will definitely be coming back again and I also want to try hed very thai, also by one of the owners of hed 11

I’ve been longing to visit Hed 11! Here’s my review after finally making it in for lunch:

Food: The dishes were absolutely delicious, with vibrant, well-balanced flavors that showcased modern Thai cuisine beautifully. That said, most of the dishes were served lukewarm, which detracted from the overall experience. At this level, temperature matters just as much as taste. Portions leaned slightly on the smaller side—enough for me, but they might not be very filling for those with a bigger appetite.

Drinks: Cocktails are on the pricier side at $18 each. The flavors were solid and well-crafted, but the ice quality really missed the mark. Instead of the clear, high-quality ice typically used in craft cocktails, they used cloudy cubes from a standard ice maker—even for whiskey-based drinks. By the time I was halfway through, my cocktail was noticeably watered down.

Service: Our server, Federico, was warm, cheerful, and genuinely made us feel welcome. However, he appeared to be the only staff member working the front—handling hosting, bartending, and serving. During our two-hour lunch visit, there were only four tables total, but even with that light volume, the service felt stretched. For a restaurant offering a $40 lunch menu and Michelin Guide recognition, I would have expected a more refined and supported service experience.

Conclusion: I’d definitely come back—the flavors alone make it worth a revisit—but I do hope to see some positive changes, especially in drink execution and front-of-house staffing to elevate the overall experience.

Amazing flavor on the food! I enjoyed the 5 set lunch that even had a nice little desert passion fruit cheesecake. If staying at the hotel they also are open for breakfast
