Pass by here on the way home from Coushatta. This place has been here a long time. Cool little place with lots of interesting cooking gadgets, and seasonings inside.
I have to say that the cracklins were terrible. I don’t think they meant to be, but they were. It tasted like they were cooked in old grease. They were truly unedible. They just didn’t taste good. I hope that that’s not what they normally serve here because I don’t tell anybody could eat that.
I did try the pepper jack Boudain ball and it was much better. Not bad at all.
Ultimately, I would be hesitant to try the cracklins here again. They’re like $25 a pound. I wasted eight dollars on one scoop, which is how they sell them.

Fantastic southern hospitality! Picked up some cracklins and chicken skins for my road trip back home to Texas, and they did not disappoint. The boudin balls were fresh and amazing, and the cracklins had that perfect dusted flavor. Only wish I’d bought more—thank y’all!

Outstanding fresh food packed with authentic flavors! You’ll definitely come back for more. Don’t leave the parking lot until you taste it so you can run back in and get more of your favorite

Missy was so nice and knowledgeable. They only had the smoked Boudin, but wow it is so very good. We will be back to get more

This place makes some of the best cracklins since they do it right. Other places keep too much meat attached to the fat and that’s become a problem in this industry. More meat left on yields more weight when sold to the patrons, but this takes away from the whole cracklin taste and texture. If other places would just cook their cracklins the way you’re supposed to, then more people happier to buy and fresh genuine product. So kudos to Hebert’s for doing it correctly!
The super nice sales clerk in there early this morning was fantastic. (July 3rd) More places need people like this working for them.
The place had a nice and comfortable feeling to it. Sold fresh food but also frozen. They had a variety of spices and Louisiana staples. This place even has McWare cookware so that was pretty neat.

I wanted some (real!!!!) Cajun food because that’s none existent at the casino so I’m so glad we stopped here. First of all Ms Pat reminded me of my grandma. I asked her could I take pics she said as long as I didn’t take any of her I couldn’t help it but I was interested in the fried boudin link (don’t judge me) and it was errthang. I also got cracklings (so good) so of course I had to get frozen boudin for home. They also sell their own seasonings, yall definitely need to try them out

We hit the drive through for some cracklins and boudine balls. I loved the cracklins. They were seasoned well and crunchy. First time eating either because we’re originally from the north. The folks that took our order were helpful because we really didnt know what to order and we probably appeared confused. I’d definitely go here and pass those nearby fast food joints.

Just popped in heard it was a place to stop.
Got some spices and some pumpkin butter. Didn’t try the food or anything. Prices seem reasonable enough. Not a huge selection like I had in my mind, but the staff were really friendly and I appreciated that.

Boudin and Cracklins were absolutely amazing! They offer cracklings in portions of the following: 1 scoop, 4 scoops, 1/2 gallons or 1 gallon jars of cracklings. I bought a link of boudin, a link of sausage and a 1/2 gallon jug of cracklings and they were all delicious!!
