Heavy Kevy’s Barbecue was founded in 2016 by pit-master Kevin Kilvington. What started as a hobby in his backyard cooking for family and friends eventually turned into Heavy Kevy’s Barbecue and is one of South Jerseys barbecue destinations, serving up delicious smoked meats, along with seasonal, southern sides. From brisket to smoked pulled pork, ribs, five cheese mac n cheese, baked beans and smoked street corn salad. We locally source the best ingredients and post oak shipped in from Texas making our Texas-style BBQ the perfect barbecue experience.

Heavy Kevy’s catered our co-ed baby shower at Red, White & Brew Beer Co this past weekend, and everything was tasty. Kevin was easy to work with, responsive, and showed up on time to allow us to setup. We opted for the 2 meat, 2 side buffet combo and everyone had good things to say about the bbq, including picky friends who recently moved back from Texas!
We especially enjoyed the brisket and pulled pork, and the 5 cheese mac & cheese was a nice touch. Kevin supplied brioche buns for guests to make sandwiches, and worked with me on tailoring the menu as one of my guests had a citrus allergy.
Very happy we came across Heavy Kevy’s for our special day.

SUCH good bbq!! We had the pulled pork, Mac and cheese, homemade bbq sauce and pickles, corn salad and potato salad and truly loved it all. Kevin was so easy to work with and so kind when it came to planning our event! We will definitely be getting heavy kevvys bbq again

Had Kevy cater my 40th birthday bbq. Food arrived on time, hot, and delicious. Everybody loved it. Brisket was gone in an hour, but the surprise for everyone was the Frito corn salad. Many people had never had it, but loved it. And the pulled pork and 5 cheese Mac & cheese are always great. Can’t wait for the next party to enjoy more of this amazing bbq!
