Just WOW. Heaven’s Soul Food is exactly what Hawaii needed!
I ordered two plates one with fried catfish and one with fried chicken wings. Both came with mac & cheese and collard greens (mac for my boys, greens for me because I love me some good greens!).
Every bite was full of flavor. The catfish and chicken wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and honestly didn’t even need sauce (but hey, to each their own). The mac was creamy, the greens were packed with that Southern soul, and the portions were generous. This is the real deal soul food.
Service was top tier! Ron, the owner, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and you can tell he puts his heart into every plate.
Just a heads-up: call ahead! They don’t start cooking until you order, so it takes a little time but it’s 100% worth the wait.
Located at the food truck lot at Pearlridge Mall by the old Sears, don’t miss it!

Best food truck on the island. Hell his food is better than 95 percent on this whole island. The food is fresh, made right there in front of you. Great customer service and doing it all by himself. Yeah you gonna wait but the time he spends preparing your food is worth it. My first time trying his truck and BOY when I tasted his food im hooked .Don’t go to these other trucks on the island go to Heaven Soul Food Truck in Waikiki. He needs 5 more trucks like this He need his own restaurants. That’s how good it is.

They do it right! The catfish was breaded and fried to perfection and the wings were also great. The macaroni and yams were very flavorful, they were out of collard greens. Recommend going before noon so they are not sold out of certain sides/plates. The portions are large, made me miss the south!

What’s going on family, this may be a late post but I have to recommend Heavens Soul Food. Placed an order with them for the holidays and when I say they deliver, on the spot !!! The collards, on point, the cornbread, on spot the chicken lawd. Felt like we was back in the States. And the portions they give… Let me say we ate good for 2 weeks. If y’all looking for good homemade soul food check them out. Y’all won’t be disappointed

I will preface this by saying that I really did enjoy the food and so did my Husband and best friend. My only gripe is I would have liked a more realistic wait time estimate. We were told 15-20 minutes but instead waited for about 40 minutes. So I didn’t get to eat with my best friend who had gotten her plate about 10 minutes after ordering. However, I did talk to one of the owners and he advised that they fry fish and chicken fresh so it can take a bit longer. (Keep that in mind if you are on a strict time schedule)
The collards were very good, best I’ve had on the island so far. Catfish was fresh, Mac and cheese was decent, LOVED their yellow rice. I tried a piece of my Husbands chicken which was pretty good and the candied yams were amazing. Tasted better than pie. Also had a sip of my BFs guava lemonade and it was delicious.
Overall I enjoyed the meal and I like that there are tables to enjoy your meal nearby. (pearlridge food truck area). I highly recommend you to try!

If you’re craving authentic, delicious, and comforting soul food, Heavens Soul Food Cuisine is an absolute must visit. I tried the fried catfish plate with a side of Mac annd collard greens. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich. The collard greens was absolutely packed with flavor and delicious. The portions were generous, prices fair, and the service was top-notch. You can tell that everything is made with love. This place made me feel at home.
I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates real soulful cooking done right.

4.9 stars only because I like my fried fish with tartar sauce, but I just mixed it with the macaroni and the rice.
Definitely a must-eat spot if I ever find myself back in Hawaii.
