Owner was really nice his daughter had the true attitude trying to flip their problem on me saying I can stop having an attitude the dad says she’s still learning and was apologetic for his daughters behavior
maybe this be a lesson to not project your feelings onto someone else I was genuinely disappointed that they didn’t have brisket and had to go with the tri tip all because they were out next time I’ll dispute the charge and never come back
And please don’t tell someone that’s been eating BBQ his whole life that brisket and tri tip are the same they are 2 completely different cuts they have different textures and doneness points
Brisket is soft, buttery and pulls apart
Tritip is steak-like, firm, sliceable for a pit master to say that to me is saying something that he just wanted the sale

Not great… mac n cheese and coleslaw did not have much flavor. Nachos we like canned cheese with some meat. Tri-tip was greasy (more grease than BBQ sauce). Customer Service was good but not sure we will return… a little spendy for portions and quality

I went here yesterday. It was really good. I had the tri tip sandwich. My boyfriend had the smoked pastrami sandwich. They were both really flavorful. I thought the portions were a little small for the price. The fries are natural cut and were better than fast food fries in my opinion. Overall I had a good experience. The food was amazing. It took a while to receive our order. However, there is seating outside and the weather was nice. So I didnt mind the wait. I wouldn’t stop here if I were in a hurry. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was acceptable.

As a local to the area, it’s hard to know where to rate this. In Eugene, sometimes you expect subpar and or laughable service because you know the food will make up for it.
But coming in here, seeing trophies and readers choice awards, this place has to be humbled.
The server was friendly, but extremely unprofessional. He was clearly high, which like I said, it’s Eugene so not a huge deal. But he was wearing glittery slippers that he was just sliding around in like we were in his living room. He had very mumbled speech which couldn’t be understood, and accidentally gave us too many drinks that he then proceeded to take them back while also forgetting what food to give us. Chaos man, chaos.
My sandwich was good, I got the Brisket. Flavorful, soft, and the BBQ sauce was delicious. But the Mac & Cheese and the bottled water shared something in common. They both came from Winco. I paid almost $20, come on now.
I’m going to give Tony the benefit of the doubt because of the Pandemic. But if you want trophies for BBQ that couldn’t come within two states of Texas BBQ, hire some better staff and get some better ingredients.

This was honestly the most disappointing BBQ I have ever had. For starters the tray of food here plus a side of mac n cheese, and a bottle of SHASTA cola was 65 dollars.
I absolutely love barbecue food, and have wanted to try this place forever because I used to drive by on my way to work every day. My fiancé and I took a few bites of each, and honestly can’t eat it because it tastes so bad. The pulled pork was so compacted and squished it looked like something mashed. The brisket was so badly overcooked it was very chewy. The rib tips tasted so heavily of liquid smoke I spit it out. I have never done that before. The spare ribs and chicken were mediocre at best. The Mac n cheese was bland and very boring. Also, Shasta? If I wanted Shasta I would go to the dollar store. The only thing worth eating from this place was the chicken nuggets from the kids meal we ordered for our daughter.
This was such an expensive unfortunate experience. I wish I could say I would go back, but at this point in time I don’t see either of us going back ever again.

Food is mediocre. Service? Awful. Placed a pick up order, for a #10 and #4 just the sandwiches. There is no slaw on the #10! They forgot the side of mac with the order too. Had to go back in to get it. The waitress or order taker sounded pretty high on the phone and in person. Gross. How disappointing. I have eaten here on and off throughout the years, since it was over by KFC on river rd. The food used to be amazing. The prices weren’t my favorite, but it was a nice splurge. What happened? This was like mashed chicken and pork. The sauce is….all smoke. The mac has absolutely no flavor. Not worth the money at all. I expect to be stuffed after BBQ. Not so much this time. The portions used to be overflowing the box. The sauce used to be balanced. Such a sad day. We definetly will not be back.

Got baby back rib combo. Weight of ribs 3.9 oz. Wow reesers cheap pot salad. And cheap albersons roll. Bland and boring. Pretty disappointed. 19 bucks after tip. Will just cook at home next time. They have a killer smoker outside. They could do way better. This is a prime example of giving up. The restaurant looks really cool inside. And the menu looks nice too. They spent some money to make this place look good. But now they just serve slop. Unfortunately i won’t ever go back.
