The food was so good! We had a smothered pork chop with cabbage and Mac & Cheese, oxtail with collars and rice along with cornbread. Small place but the owner was so friendly! We actually plan to come back and try something different tomorrow. We are from out of town and glad we found this hidden gem!

I was very pleased. I had a 4 choice seafood plate. Shrimp, oysters, Scallops and fish.
The cook was the only one there at 12:45. Food delivered in about 7 minutes. For 19.00 it was Amazing! I’ll do it again when I’m in the Dorchester Rd area.

Restaurant in shopping center. Small inside, about 6 tables. Seafood and soulfood. Our table got the oxtail and rice, fish and fries, wings and fries and side order of mac n cheese. Food was good. Loved the wings because they were a very good size.

Last week, I had the joy of dining at Heavenly Spoon, and I must say—it lived up to its name in every sense. The food was nothing short of divine. I ordered the fried fish, collard greens, and cornbread, and each bite felt like a soulful hymn to Southern comfort.
The fish was golden, crisp, and perfectly seasoned—flaky on the inside, with just the right crunch. The collard greens, tender and slow-cooked, carried the kind of deep, rich flavor that speaks of tradition and care. And the cornbread? Warm, buttery, and just sweet enough to make you close your eyes in gratitude.
What made the experience truly memorable, though, was the warmth of the owner. Kind, welcoming, and full of heart—the type of host who makes you feel not just like a customer, but like a cherished guest.
Heavenly Spoon is more than a meal; it’s a moment of comfort, cooked with love.

I just got my food. First, my order was incorrect. I received cabbage when I ordered corn, which was not cooked properly. The rice was still raw, hard and crunchy. The oxtails were so sweet it made my mouth tingle and water. It tasted as if they were marinated cooked and sprinkled with more sugar. I couldn’t taste the meat what so ever. I will say that the meat was extremely tender. Absolutely no Thank you!!!

Kitchen smells good, food is not. I ordered chicken wings and shrimp with Mac and cheese. The shrimp were overcooked and ate like rubber. The chicken was undercooked and almost raw. As for the Mac and cheese, bland and tasted a few days old.
They call it “heavenly spoon” and you might visit heaven if you eat here. Very poor experience. Will not go again and recommend no one does.

Small place in a strip mall. Fried chicken was fresh, hot, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Seafood Mac was a dryer texture, appropriate to the cook on the seafood. Definitely interested in returning for the curry chicken.

Food was unbelievable! This is a family owned business with an amazing story, so ask the owner who runs it.
