Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner served ALL DAY!
Randomly stopped in for breakfast. Food was great, fun, friendly environment, great service. This place does NOT show up on Google Maps when you search “restaurants” in the area. Owners NEED to fix this! Only reason I was aware of this place is I’ve been driving by it on the way to my friend’s new house in Gulfport to cat sit for them.
Got the Heavenly Platter, eggs over easy, comes with grits AND hash browns, 1 strip bacon, 1 sausage patty & I chose wheat toast which ALL toast is served dry with REAL butter at the table, not cheap magerine or fake butter blend. That alone deserves an extra star in MY book! Challah French Toast w/powdered sugar, fresh fruit & whipped cream. The regular menu has more than the B&W “to go” menu I posted. Menu prices are a little more than the color ones posted on line. The homemade pastries look amazing! Highly recommended for breakfast. I’m sure everything else is equally as good.
They also had a huge breakfast for $13 with eggs, pancakes, grits, sausage and bacon and hash-browns…plus toast!
I got the Elvis donut which was a filled with banana cream pudding then topped with chocolate icing and a peanut butter drizzle. Absolutely delicious!
Service would be better if there was a second person in the dining room, they have one person who was doing everything, so you have to be a little patient.
I got a box of day old donuts for $6.
The young woman that was helping me at the counter was very sweet and pleasant.
I HAVE to go back and try some of their breakfast and lunch options now.
If I have to say anything negative about the place it would be that it’s within walking distance and those sweets might be to good to resist going often.
Very friendly, cozy, old school feel and definitely will check them out for sit down service one of these days.
The donut- oh my word! I got the birthday cake IT WAS so moist, fluffy and delicious. Icing not too sweet (coming from a person who loves sweets) IT WAS PERFECT combination.
And the Cheese egg and sausage, you can taste the freshness and that was also delicious!
Will be back regularly. Check them out if you haven’t!
Also, very reasonably priced. I actually was surprised when she said my total, its nice to have a welcoming, delicious addition to Gulfport community!
See ya’ll soon!
I am always in search of a good sausage gravy and I’ve found it here. Not only is the gravy something to rave about, but the hash browns were so perfectly seasoned they needed no help. My husband isn’t a big fan of breakfast foods, but he loves me so he usually finds something to order when we have breakfast out. At Heavenly Donuts, Penelope checked and they were kind enough to let him order something off the lunch menu. So accommodating! He went with the grilled chicken sandwich and she brought a couple homemade sauces for him to try; make sure you try the maple Dijon.
Once we were sufficiently full, and at that time should have run for the door, I decided you couldn’t come to a place called Heavenly Donuts without trying a donut. I was going to take it home, but it did not make it that far. I went with the maple bacon and my husband had a s’mores donut. Delicious!
Please come try them out when you get the chance. If the parking spaces in the front of the building are filled up, there is plenty of parking around the back. They serve dinner Fridays through Sundays so that will be our next trip into Heavenly Donuts. I’m hearing really good things about the jambalaya and based on our experiences thus far, I’m sure it will be wonderful!
