If it’s even possible, I think I enjoy buying doughnuts and bringing them home, more than I do eating them. There’s something about the excitement that’s generated from that mystery box of goodness. Heavenly Daylight Doughnuts/The Emporium can provide that, with a smile. Which I often wonder how, since they have to get up so early. Maybe it’s because they know they are creating something so tasty, and they get to see the smiles of the one’s they make it for. Do yourself a favor. Get some goodness…..

Just got totally ripped off here. The way they put in totals allows for major error and overcharging over customers. Then told you’ll have to wait til Tuesday to speak with a manager. Sounds like their employees intentionally adding extra.

These donuts were soooooo good! Some of the best glazed donuts I’ve had, and I’m a fat kid. Didn’t try any of the other breakfast food, but planning on going back to try the biscuits and gravy sometime soon. I also had a chai latte and was super disappointed in that. When I asked about dairy alternatives for it, I felt like I might’ve grown a third head the way the clerk looked at me. I ordered it anyways and it tasted like lightly seasoned warm milk. Not at all like what a chai should taste like. I would not order any sort of prepared beverage here again, just seemed out of their expertise. And still the five star rating stands because the donuts were that good! Go for the donuts, not the coffee (or chai)! I know it’s now a must visit for us for future visits to family in the area.

This is the best place in town to get breakfast. I love their homemade biscuits and gravy. Their blueberry cake donuts are literally the BEST. I have no complaints about anything they make. Everything is so delicious from their donuts, sausage rolls, breakfast sandwiches, to their caramel frappe. I highly recommend it!!!!!!

Heavenly Daylight Donuts was a great introduction to Lamar. Not only does it have great local atmosphere, but it’s really a snapshot of what makes life in Lamar so special, now and in the past. Their old-fashioned donuts and maple bars were fresh, soft, and delicious. Worth going back for, and we did! The staff was friendly and helpful, ready to help us make what was a really difficult decision. The coffee was fresh and constantly flowing. They even came to our table to do refills when our conversation kept us in our seats. (It’s a great place to meet and talk!) Everything was clean and comfortable, bright and cheery. What a gem this is for the community of Lamar and anyone blessed to visit there!!
