Heather truly puts her whole heart and soul into making and creating some of the most delicious food and desserts. She not only creates handcrafted food for her restaurant, but she also is an angel in the community and is one of the first people to come forward and offer help to people needing blessing meals or free groceries. Her love and commitment to the community is in every aspect of her business and you couldn’t ask for a better restaurant and community member. Her cinnamon rolls are legitimately the best on the earth, if you don’t agree you can fight me lol. And her chicken and dumplings are top tier. Probably better than your grandma’s.

I discovered Sweet Little Things, when a co-worker treated me to one of their Cinnamon Rolls. My tastebuds were blown away, so blown away I had to come and get another one.
When I arrived, to my surprise they had a smaller Cinnamon Roll that had bacon wrapped on the inside. Yes, you heard me right, a cinnamon roll with bacon. I’ll have to go back for that, I was so focused on getting my fix on the jumbo cinnamon roll. I’ll give you some advice, warm it up in a microwave for about 30 seconds and it will melt in your mouth.
I didn’t want to not be eating in front of my co-worker, so I got her a Blueberry Muffin. She’s allergic to cinnamon, so I knew I couldn’t get her a roll. She said her muffin was moist and flavorful, so I felt good about my choice.
There were so many delicious looking choices in the display case. One item that caught my eye, was a Lemon Poppyseed Bread. Yum-Yum. I also saw, Biscuits and Gravy on the menu, so I have two good reasons to return.
The staff was super-super friendly and helpful. You could tell they were passionate about their, sweet little things. As I was being rung out, I signed up for their rewards program. If I am going to eat sweets, I might as well be rewarded.
If you have a sweet tooth and are in the Rosewood Heights area, I highly recommend you make a stop at SLT.

A small bakery cafè with home-cooked meals and a variety of sweet treats. The chicken and dumplings are great and if you love lemon bars they are amazing. Update: Google offered me a whole 5 points for this. Since this review Heathers table has been one of the best things to discover. Heather and her daughter care so much about the community with the blessings board, fundraising, and community events. They have installed themselves a pillar of said community. She is the mom, grandma, aunt that you loved for being so happy and kind.

Sweet little things has made a custom order for me in the past that was a big hit at work and I went by in the morning during their soft opening on 2/2 for some breakfast. Staff was friendly and quick. I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were super yummy and fresh. I will definitely be back!

Great place to stop for breakfast, we came from Florissant looking for a local business to support. The biscuits and gravy were great, and you could tell everything is made from scratch. The staff is friendly and outgoing. if I’m back in the area I will return!
