Because that location sucks and couldn’t bring in the volume needed to make an AYCE place work. MGD has another location in Northridge.

My family and I all enjoyed the meal. It is definitely a good value if everyone has a healthy appetite, however light eaters will fail to see value. The beef bulgogi and brisket were our favorites. We strongly disliked the shrimp. Most other meats we tried were okay but not good or great. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was really good, everyone in my family enjoyed it. The noodles were great. We liked a lot of the precooked foods we ordered. It’s a place we will go to again, though probably not frequently.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Heat KBBQ in Thousand Oaks with a group of friends, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s the best Korean barbecue I’ve had in a long time. Coming from Ventura, I’m thrilled to have discovered such a fantastic spot closer to home.

Located on the second floor of a small shopping center, Heat KBBQ offers convenient parking options both in the front and upper parking lot. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated by the friendly staff, who were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu and recommending new dishes.

One standout recommendation was the kimchi fried rice with egg on top, which I was initially hesitant about but ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the night. The appetizers, particularly the Hollywood tater tots topped with cheese sauce and flaming hot Cheetos, were a delicious start to the meal.

The assortment of different pork bellies with various flavorings was a hit at our table, and I couldn’t get enough of the lemon marinated pork belly. Additionally, the japchae was bursting with flavor like nothing I’ve ever tasted before.

I must also mention the fantastic variety of meats we ordered, although I can’t recall everything we tried – they were all amazing. The taco kit was a fun and unique addition to our meal, allowing us to enjoy fusion food in a creative way.

As an all-you-can-eat experience, Heat KBBQ definitely requires you to come hungry, as you’ll want to try everything on the menu. The staff and service were exceptional, and I was blown away by how extremely nice everyone was.

Overall, Heat KBBQ exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another incredible dining experience. Thank you to the entire staff for an unforgettable evening!a

We went here for Mother’s day and we enjoyed the variety they have for banchan. The cuts of meats were great as well. We’ve been to Korea and we’ve been to Japan as well, so every now and again, we start craving the flavors of yakiniku/K BBQ. This place delivered those flavors with reasonable prices and amazing customer service.

Great food, great staff and great location. The meat are fresh and properly marinated, the dipping sauce and tray are well prepared. Enough seats and tables to accomodate a big group. Will definitely come back.

I saw Janchi rated higher than this place and LOL’d. I don’t usually take the time to leave ratings but this is definitely not right so I’m doing my part. T.O. is lucky to have a Korean BBQ spot this good. I hope this place sticks around.

There are a lot of variety of meats and cooked dishes to choose from. The portions for the cooked foods is perfect for one or for sharing just to get a taste. The staff is very attentive to your needs.

This place was a complete disappointment. The food was way over-salted and honestly inedible. It took forever for our order to come out, and when it finally did, a lot of what we ordered never even showed up. On top of that, the staff was rude, giving us attitude and mean mugging the whole time — they didn’t even bother bringing us water without being asked multiple times.

For four people, the bill came out to $216, which is insane for the quality we got. To make matters worse, I actually felt sick afterward. Between the overpriced menu, terrible service, and messed-up order, this is definitely a place I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Went here with my wife, we’ve only been to a couple Korean BBQ places before, to be fair, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was good quality, there’s a nice, wide variety of appetizers and the little dishes like kimchi, etc, the servers were quick to replace the grill, overall it was quite good. The Korean Fried Chicken was especially delicious.
