We will gladly wait for food of this caliber. I have to say, this is top level pizza. We split a Ceasars salad and had a Pepperoni pizza. We will make the hour drive from the valley to dine here again, without a hesitation.
The Caesar salad was perfection and the pizza had us scheming our next trip to Lincoln City to try all the rest of their offerings. Staff were super friendly and helpful. This place is special. We’ll be back for sure!
We arrived right when they opened around 3pm and were seated immediately for a party of two. Fresh cocktails hit the table within four minutes (yes, I clocked it), and they brought water in a glass bottle just for our table. Small detail? Sure. Did it immediately set the tone? Absolutely.
My husband ordered their espresso martini made with barrel-aged rum and amaretto, and I went with my usual anywhere-on-earth order: an amaretto sour. Both were excellent. The espresso martini deserves special recognition—smooth, not overly sweet or creamy, classic, and honestly just very good-looking. A stunner.
Now let’s talk pizza. We ordered the classic Margherita and the Agrodolce, and I need you to understand something: this crust is WILD. Chewy, moist, perfectly smoky from the wood-fired oven. Mid-bite, I looked at my husband and said, “This place executes Ken’s pizza with heartless vigor.” And I meant it as the highest compliment. Ken’s (Portland & Bend) is exquisite—but Hearth & Table is the entire package. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, service was top-tier. Even the people waiting in the lobby had cocktails and were happily vibing.
Our server offered homemade ranch, chili flakes, honey, or Parmesan. We chose ranch and honey. If you’ve never put honey on pizza, respectfully—you’ve been living incorrectly.
We finished with tiramisu, because if the cocktails are solid and the pizza gives you an existential crisis, obviously you order dessert. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert on the planet, which makes me a harsh critic. First bite? My fist hit the table. My husband jumped. It was perfect. Moist ladyfingers soaked with just enough coffee, rich thick crème with a hint of vanilla, and cocoa powder that somehow ended up all over my face while I smiled like a toddler (my husband wiped me down—romantic).
Pure, euphoric dessert bliss.
The staff boxed our leftovers with care, the energy was warm, and you can tell this place is going places. We literally cannot wait to come back to the coast just to eat here again.
We will be back. Without question. ✨
After signing in, we wandered through the adorable housewares shop next door, and then ordered a couple of glasses of wine to keep us company in the waiting area. The person handling seating kept a close eye on the clipboard, and did a very attentive job of managing lots of people waiting for a small number of tables. Their ETA estimates were very good.
And now for the food, which was very, very good indeed. We had their Campagna salad, with arugula, walnuts, feta, onions, and a simple, terrific dressing. Our pizza was a perfect example of “trust the chef” – my wife’s motto when we encounter something different on a menu. The Kofta pizza came with seasoned lamb, and a small pile of salad in the center, that contained a bit of mint, and went beautifully with the lamb.
The night’s blackboard dessert special was a warm orange and cardamom cake. Highly recommended.
After you’ve put your name on the waiting list if there is a little wait the Nauti Mermaid is a great little bar to sit and wait & it’s a very short walk away.
Once we had our table service was fast and efficient. We had the Agrodolce (fennel sausage with honey and Chile crisp) pizza w/burrata and the enslata di champgne. Both were fantastic… I am sure we’ll be returning again!
