There’s nothing that is less than amazing here. The quality of the food is always on point. The recent updates have truly opened up the space making it a fabulous location for our family to come and enjoy a relaxing meal. A few tips, keep an eye out for happy hour specials, make reservations if you plan on popping over in the evenings and know you can’t beat the view!!! There is kids menu too!!!

Two of our friends are locals to Windsor and they recommended that we meet here for lunch. Windsor is also such a lovely little city to walk around.

We were seated, and then greeted by the General Manager Peter, who was extremely gregarious, hilarious, and made us feel very welcome.

Our server Samuel was excellent, and also their team member Bud who we also chatted with.

I had the Creamy Tomato Bisque followed by the Black Angus New York Strip Steak (12oz), cooked rare, and both were perfect. The rest of us were very happy with the meals as well.

Decent wines, and excellent cocktails rounded-off a magnificent experience on a cozy Saturday afternoon at Hearth.

Well done folks, very impressive indeed.

Went on the recommendation of locals. Not a huge restaurant space. There is an outdoor space, but obviously can only be used when weather permits. We had a party of 18 and had one server, Shawn, who did an amazing job. The manager also came over several times and other servers came and helped out. Service was excellent. Both the manager and Shawn gave us excellent recommendations. We had the Brussel Sprouts, Meatballs and Disco Fries for apps. Each were so good. Meatballs were flavorful and tender. The sauce in the Brussel Sprouts made this app extra tasty. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich. Wow!!!Tender, not grisly. Amazing. Most people had their burgers and said they were also great. The Chocolate Torte…..wow. overall a great experience with friends!!! Thanks!

The three of us came to the hearth on a slow Saturday afternoon, atound 1pm. There was a decent amount of people at the bar and the dinning area was mostly empty. At first it took us 5 mins from sitting down to get a server to acknowledge us. I was disappointed by this but the feeling went away once our server came. Our server was friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the $2 deviled eggs which I found over priced but the ingredients tasted fresh, but on the salty side. If you are sensitive to salt maybe try another appetizer.
I asked the server for a recommendation, this being our first time, he recommended the bacon and fig. Much like other reviews the cheese was lacking. The pizza crust was made well crunchy but not hard.
The kids pizza was huge and my little loved it. Overall after a rough start The Hearth’s employees made the overall experience pleasant.

We went for an early dinner with my best friend who came in town to visit for my birthday around 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon.
The flies were so pesky we spent the entire time waiving them away with our hands to keep them off our skin, food and drinks. My husband accidentally knocked over his beer in doing so and had to go ask someone to help wipe it up.
The bottles of water brought to our table were being stored in the sun on shelving so was not cold. The fries served to all 3 of us appeared and tasted very old. My burger and cocktail (although small) was good. My husband felt his fish was mostly breading and same for my friends prime rib sandwich – more bread than meat. The server was nice but I don’t believe she came back once to check on us until we were ready to pay and leave.

Our server Jordan was wonderful. She was knowledge of the menu and specials and prompt with orders and drinks. She did a great job with us and was fun to interact with.
My burger was dry, asked for medium and the carrot cake was gigantic, which we were warned about, but it was just ok. I’ve had better, and for $16, I should’ve passed. Fun evening out with my husband, we will be back! Thanks for a fun evening Jordan, keep doing what you’re doing!

First time dining here on a busy Saturday evening during Windsor Harvest Festival, and the view of Windsor Lake is absolutely stunning—definitely a highlight. The interior has a sleek, modern taphouse vibe that feels inviting. We were genuinely excited to try it out, especially with their mocktail options and gluten-free pizza on the menu.

Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t quite carry through to the food. The $30 Bacon Fig gluten free pizza was a letdown—sparse on cheese, lacking flavor, and the crust was so tough it actually hurt to bite into. On the bright side, the Foal mocktail was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. I was curious about dessert, but with everything priced at $11 and up, it felt hard to justify after such a disappointing main.

Outstanding Experience

I had an incredible experience at Hearth. From the moment I walked in, Peter, the General Manager, made me feel completely at home. He is truly one of a kind—welcoming, genuine, and the type of person you want to come back and visit again and again. Anytime I’m in town, I’ll be stopping by just to say hello and enjoy the atmosphere he creates.

The food was fantastic, full of flavor and clearly made with care. And while I regret not remembering her name, our waitress was hilarious, attentive, and absolutely amazing. She kept the evening fun and made the service feel effortless.

Hearth has earned a permanent spot on my list. Highly recommend!

We’ve been here a few times and lately it’s pretty unimpressive. The food is way overpriced for what you get. The pizza is just ok but costs $25. Normally I wouldn’t write a bad review… but this past visit there was a dead fly baked into my pizza. They did comp the pizza but it was pretty disgusting. I would recommend the tavern instead, the food is way better.
