We were seated, and then greeted by the General Manager Peter, who was extremely gregarious, hilarious, and made us feel very welcome.
Our server Samuel was excellent, and also their team member Bud who we also chatted with.
I had the Creamy Tomato Bisque followed by the Black Angus New York Strip Steak (12oz), cooked rare, and both were perfect. The rest of us were very happy with the meals as well.
Decent wines, and excellent cocktails rounded-off a magnificent experience on a cozy Saturday afternoon at Hearth.
Well done folks, very impressive indeed.
I asked the server for a recommendation, this being our first time, he recommended the bacon and fig. Much like other reviews the cheese was lacking. The pizza crust was made well crunchy but not hard.
The kids pizza was huge and my little loved it. Overall after a rough start The Hearth’s employees made the overall experience pleasant.
The flies were so pesky we spent the entire time waiving them away with our hands to keep them off our skin, food and drinks. My husband accidentally knocked over his beer in doing so and had to go ask someone to help wipe it up.
The bottles of water brought to our table were being stored in the sun on shelving so was not cold. The fries served to all 3 of us appeared and tasted very old. My burger and cocktail (although small) was good. My husband felt his fish was mostly breading and same for my friends prime rib sandwich – more bread than meat. The server was nice but I don’t believe she came back once to check on us until we were ready to pay and leave.
My burger was dry, asked for medium and the carrot cake was gigantic, which we were warned about, but it was just ok. I’ve had better, and for $16, I should’ve passed. Fun evening out with my husband, we will be back! Thanks for a fun evening Jordan, keep doing what you’re doing!
Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t quite carry through to the food. The $30 Bacon Fig gluten free pizza was a letdown—sparse on cheese, lacking flavor, and the crust was so tough it actually hurt to bite into. On the bright side, the Foal mocktail was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. I was curious about dessert, but with everything priced at $11 and up, it felt hard to justify after such a disappointing main.
I had an incredible experience at Hearth. From the moment I walked in, Peter, the General Manager, made me feel completely at home. He is truly one of a kind—welcoming, genuine, and the type of person you want to come back and visit again and again. Anytime I’m in town, I’ll be stopping by just to say hello and enjoy the atmosphere he creates.
The food was fantastic, full of flavor and clearly made with care. And while I regret not remembering her name, our waitress was hilarious, attentive, and absolutely amazing. She kept the evening fun and made the service feel effortless.
Hearth has earned a permanent spot on my list. Highly recommend!
