The food was kind of bland. Nothing too exciting. The atmosphere was pretty cool though. We were welcomed right away by a friendly gentleman who sat us immediately. The restrooms are shared with the lobby of the neighboring hotel and is a bit of ways down the hall. It was a different type of place. The food was mediocre but they had a bar area which seemed pretty interesting.

We came while staying at the John Carver Inn. The convenience of the restaurant is excellent and the servers are nice. The food on the other hand is not so great. Do no, I repeat, do not order the pot roast. It’s inedible. The egg and waffle sandwich was a hit and the stir fry was good. Probably wouldn’t eat here again when there are so many good restaurants in Plymouth.

This is one of their $9.99 Specials! Cajun Shrimp Bowl! It was wicked good and will definitely order again until they don’t have it anymore! Staff was great also!

Needed some comfort food and friendly staff after full day of sightseeing. Perfect. It’s part of a hotel, on the side, with easy parking and eager friendly wait staff. Hardly anyone there but we were early. Scoping out restrooms was a trek but I made it. Food was exactly what I expected delivered quickly and delicious.

Server was sweet as pie but that is the only positive point. Took 30-40min to get the food even though the place was nearly empty. 3 of 7 meals had to be sent back to the kitchen. 2 of the 3 replacements were still aweful including my own which I ate anyway and am now regretting. 5 of 7 people have very upset stomachs. Strongly recommend against.

Server was nice but the food was bland. I got a cup of corn chowder, right after I ordered it I heard a different server say “86 corn chowder it’s starting to get sour”…. after I had already eaten half the bowl. An hour later and I haven’t left the bathroom. I also got half a sandwich which tasted exactly like something I could’ve made at home. I ordered a bacon cheese burger to go and they messed it up twice, first they gave me chicken fingers and fries, then they gave me a plain cheeseburger. I noticed a few other tables complain. I saw 6 tables and 3 waitresses. Not sure what the problem was tonight but we won’t be back.

The restaurant itself is pretty cool and really feels like a Colonial, Plymouth restaurant. I’ve eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here, all of which were good. I’m pretty sure you can get breakfast all day/night which is hard to find in the Plymouth area. I’m also pretty sure that the food they cook with is organic. But don’t quote me on those two statements! Anyways, the food is good! I have enjoyed every meal I’ve eaten from this place but it’s a little bit pricey. It’s a nice place to go for a special meal of some sorts. Or for a relaxing Sunday breakfast.

By far one of the worst experiences ever. Stayed at the John Carver one night and decided to try this place out for breakfast. We were immediately sat down at our table, no issues. But then it took 18 mins (yes i timed it!) to even be acknowledged! There were maybe 3 other tables there, so being super busy was no excuse. We waited and waited, even asking the hostess if we were going to be served at any time, and she said “let me find your server”. After 2 other tables that came in AFTER us were seen and had placed their order, we were finally served. The waitress was RUDE AF. No hello, no greeting. The first response was “Know what you want???”. Seriously??? When we finally got our food, I ordered the eggs benedict with potatoes, the potatoes were COLD. I don’t mean room temp, I mean they had been sitting out over night cold……….. the ham edges were hard and dry. We were never checked on during our food until the waitress came back with the check and literally slammed it on the table. It was probably one of the worst experiences we have ever had and there was absolutely no excuse for it. The hotel was nice, but this needs to be addressed immediately. We will definitely travel back to the area, but will never set foot in this restaurant again.

Note to the manager – just looked at my receipt. 116-Deborah was the “server”. 10/8/2019. 0918am. Table 53/1.

Not quite as lively as the one in Weymouth but the staff is nice and pleasant for the most part. Could be a little bit more attentive with the checking the tables. I feel like the servers get a little distracted sometimes even tho it never really seems that busy. The hash is very good here though and also a big fan of their ‘Irish’ coffee.
