Several locals have been recommending this place to me as the best pizza in Anchorage, and I finally gave in and gave them a try. Theys mostly serve simple, straight-forward pizzas, with nothing too. They have a good-looking menu of sides and apps, too. I had the sweet potato pie and brussels sprouts. I’m not a thin crust guy in general, so I’m a little biased, but their crust was decent to me. They’re not heavy on the cheese or sauces, which allowed for the other toppings to shine a little bit more. There were big chunks of chicken and a good kick of heat mixed with sweetness. It was a solid pizza and I enjoyed it. The brussels were pretty decent; they could have been crispier, but the bacon jam added a nice flavor. Ordering ahead online was convenient, and my food was ready in 30ish minutes at an early dinner hour. I wouldn’t deter anybody from giving this place a try!

Okay, super chill, but non of us knew what we were ordering off the menu. We had to guess, and it turned out great! But the food descriptions were a little too fancy for our Alaskan country verse, haha. Great food and staff. It did take over 40 minutes for our pizzas, so just be ready to chat or people watch while you wait!

Stopped in on a busy Sunday night before Christmas, and despite the holiday rush, Hearth Artisan Pizza delivered an exceptional experience. The restaurant was bustling, but our waiter Aaron was attentive, friendly, and efficient—truly wonderful service.
We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For the mains, we ordered the Margherita pizza and the calzone special. Both were cooked to perfection, even with the crowd. The fresh, high-quality ingredients and the unmistakable flavor from the brick oven made every bite amazing.

Great place for pizza. Being vegetarians we tried the Farmer’s pizza and an exotic one – with Beet pesto sauce ! Both were good. We could watch the Pizza being made freshly and baked in the oven.
Would have loved to have some Italian spices like oregano – but to our surprise they did not have !

The name, simply in it’s own essence is enough. The pizza served at this establishment is very well done. Scratch the 10 or 15 you might pay somewhere else for something simple, and spend 16-22 ish on something that’s made with higher quality products. There isnt a place in town that beats it really. Dont waste your time, check out what Hearth has to offer.

LOVED this place. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had vegetables for an appetizer that were amazing and shared the farmer pie pizza. For the two of us, this was the perfect amount of food. The server was very friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

Was just driving around trying to find a decent pizza place in this location that you can sit at and stumbled upon this little spot. At first we were a bit wary because the menu is definitely unique from your standard pizza establishment.
The inside was cozy and has a rustic feel, employees were nice and great customer service. The pizza we ordered, was delicious and juicy. Their pizza sauce tastes great and not overpowering. The kebabs were also juicy, has a very small kick to them, wish there was more. They have gluten free and dairy free menu options.

Pizza is always really dang good here. The Hot Mess is probably my favorite. The desserts are amazing too. Love the avocado pudding and the chocolate torte. Hope they have the spiced wine for the holidays again!

Favorite local spot for delicious salads and pizzas. The environment, the staff, the food is why I keep going back. I want to make a special note that they have a server there that remembers my food allergies and wine of choice even after only dining in a few times.

We are were in town for half a day after an Alaskan cruise and really wanted some pizza. This place didn’t disappoint. Amazing wood fire pizza, great beer selection and fantastic friendly atmosphere. One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. Make sure to get the ice cream cookie sandwich for dessert. Sebastian took great care of us.
