I’ve been to many pho places in Florida and even in other states, but Healthy Pho in Port Charlotte truly stands out as the best. Every visit reminds me why this place is special.
The menu is phenomenal, with consistently delicious and well-prepared dishes. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care. The restaurant itself is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
What really sets Healthy Pho apart, though, is the staff. They are genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional. Today, I accidentally ordered the regular coffee instead of my favorite, their unique salted coffee. Without hesitation, they replaced it with the salted coffee at no extra charge. That level of kindness and customer care is rare!
I’ve also noticed that many of the staff members have been there for a long time. Seeing the same faces over the years speaks volumes about how well the place is run. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and that positive energy carries over to the customers. They eat together and joke at each other and you can truly say they’re getting along well.
Healthy Pho isn’t just a great place to eat. It is a place that makes you feel valued and welcome every single time. Highly recommended! ☕

Absolutely terrible experience. We ordered food during our lunch break and when we opened it, the meat tasted old and spoiled. It was bad enough that we didn’t eat any of it.
We immediately called the restaurant to let them know and tried to resolve the issue. Instead of showing any concern or trying to make it right, the manager told us the only way we could get a refund was if we physically brought the food back. We explained that we were on our lunch break, had already returned to work, and even had pictures of the food — but they refused to help.
To make it even worse, the manager’s response was basically that they didn’t care and that we could “do whatever we want and write a review.” That level of disrespect and lack of customer service is unbelievable.
No accountability, no attempt to fix the problem, and completely dismissive management. If this is how they treat customers when something is clearly wrong with their food, people should think twice before ordering from here.

Me and my family are big pho people and this place missed just about every mark. We ordered 3 rare beef phos which were fine and a vegetarian which had raw veggies in it, spring rolls, crab rangoons, ban mi, and beer.
Veggie pho – this was returned due to raw veggies, and replaced with a chicken soup that had chicken cold cuts in it! Like what!?
Spring roll – not your expected crunchy fresh tasting spring roll. They used a lettuce I am assuming to be romaine which took ALL of the crunch away.
Crab Rangoons – honestly this may have been our fault for ordering a Chinese item off a Vietnamese menu. The sauce was terrible too.
Ban mi – not bad but have had way better
Beer – no Asahi or Sapporo, and they had no idea what those ever are!
Bathroom – no one will refill the toilet paper, I had to rummage through the stuff in the hallway and open a new toilet paper pack and they won’t refill the paper towel dispenser. Just straight lazy.
We will not be returning.

The veggies were completely RAW as if they came right from the garden, pho does not have RAW veggies in it and we did not correct our order with another PHO, you should get your details correct first and treat customers much better than you are and lying about discrimination! Only time will tell!
ALSO, IN NO WAY DID WE MOCK HIM OR JUDGE HIM BEING ASIAN, it’s shocking your restaurant claims to be a Vietnamese restaurant but do not offer Vietnamese beer. To take that any other way is honestly attention seeking.

At first look, the dinning area is less than clean and floors are disgusting. Our order was taken and as we watched the staff, we noticed one staff member in front consistently wearing the same pair of gloves. She dealt with money, cash register, drinks, cleaning, food and proceeded to go into the restroom with the gloves on. Granted she wasn’t in there long enough to use the restroom and came out empty handed, she still had gloves on and went to wiping sides of dishes coming out of the kitchen with her finger to clean drippings from the sides. When I mentioned it to our server, he came back with a response of “she went in to get paper”. Regardless, she was touching everything with the same pair of gloves.
The soup broth had a very good flavor but the short ribs were too tough to eat and the noodles were not fresh and stuck together in a clump at the bottom of the bowl. The “fresh vegetables” served with the pho was not fresh, sprouts were turning brown and they gave one small plate for 4 people. The spring rolls and house curry was very good.
After my comment to the server about the staff member wearing the same gloves and touching too many different things, we were left with our food, without refills on drinks even when we asked and eventually handed the check.
This was my first experience with Healthy Pho and while the broth was good, portions and price were reasonable, we will not be back. I recently tried Pho Gulf Gove and even though the prices are higher, I will be going there again and again. So much fresher, cleaner and the owners are so sweet.

The restaurant echos terribly with loud metal chairs and tables being dragged around. The server never returned to the table, I had to get my own water and request the check and Togo box at the counter. To top it all off, our appetizer has a hair across the garnish.

We were traveling through the area and saw this restaurant on Google Maps, with a good rating and reviews. I had the chicken Bahn Mi and my wife had the Vermicelli Bowl with BBQ chicken. Both were excellent. The ingredients were very fresh. Will definitely hit this one again.

My boyfriend and I ate here a little over a month ago.. and let me tell you we have been here practically every Saturday ever since. Kelly was out first waitress we had. She was very informative and helped us navigate to what we should try. Then we end up having Reggie another amazing waiter he’s so kind and pleasant, we’ve had Cameron. Again super pleasant gentleman & very informative on the food we’re practically experts by now right? Every single one of their staff members here make you feel very welcomed. I have told so many people, I’ve sent so many people photos of our dinners I cannot rant and rave enough about healthy pho! I wish more people would try this place.The food is so unbelievably fresh it’s the only place that doesn’t make my stomach sick. My favorite is the vermicelli bowl with angel hair, and I love the side dish of broth I always put my little angel hair noodles in it it’s so good it’s like a little bowl of pho kinda. I’m so glad this place exists here are some of our foods that we have tried 🙂 thank you healthy pho for coming to Charlotte county!

Frequently returning to our table, offering suggestions/recommendations & explaining what each meal was made of. The meals absolutely delicious with incredible flavor.
