Social Profile:

Headrush Roasters is a locally owned coffeehouse featuring gourmet coffee micro-roasted on-site, and an excellent selection of premium quality loose leaf teas. Moreover, it offers traditional espresso preparation on an Italian made La Marzocco espresso machine. Brewed coffee is exceptional too as only freshly roasted, freshly brewed beverages are served. We also offer some of the trendiest manual single serve coffee preparations (Hario V-60, Clever, Chemex, etc). Headrush Roasters also excels in providing an unparalleled tea experience. The tea selections are procured by an avid tea lover (co-owner Nancy) who hails from Yunnan, China, the birth place of tea. Loose leaf teas are available by the cup or by bulk! See you @HeadrushRoasters!

Family-owned shop with air roasted coffee, bubble tea & pastries, plus a drive-thru & outdoor patio.

This coffee shop is absolutely amazing! The customer service is outstanding, and every visit feels special. This is only my second time coming to this location, but both times I had the pleasure of speaking with Theo and Rocky. He makes the experience so enjoyable with great conversations and ensures my coffee has been perfect every single time.

On my last visit, I also had the chance to meet a member of the management team, who came in with such positive energy. It was refreshing to see him engaging with both guests and staff in such a genuine and uplifting way.

Beyond the great coffee and service, I love how this shop supports the community. The artwork on the walls comes from local schools, and they even sell some of the student art projects. They also partner with local vendors for cute merchandise and use a bulletin board to promote nearby Businesses.

One of the most unique things about this shop is that they freshly roast their coffee on-site and create fun, themed drinks each season. It’s clear they put care and creativity into everything they do.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots, and I’m looking forward to many more visits!

This used to be an awesome coffee shop. I don’t know what has happened the last six months but they have steadily went down hill. Today’s coffee was milk with sugar. It was so blonde I don’t even know if there was coffee in it. Sadly this will probably be the last time we go here.

I didn’t plan to stop here, but I got thirsty on my bike ride. The selections here were a bit pricier than Starbucks, but significantly higher quality. The Christmas Cookie Latte was delicious. It’s a nice plate to get a treat.

The Ginger Glow Iced Matcha was perfect on a sunny early spring afternoon. I appreciate the authentic, warm service from Nancy, the owner. I’m grateful that Headrush is a Gladstone staple.

Usually my favorite place to get matcha, went for my usual order, Iced blueberry matcha and hot chocolate chip croissant . Got a hot matcha and a cold croissant. Also didn’t need to see the barista’s entire stomach at the drive through. Only reason we didn’t get the order fixed was because they were about to close. Hopefully service is better next time

I use to love coming to headrush for coffee. It was always delicious and always had great service.
Now its run by teenagers who have no customer service and the latte i ordered was horrible. I got the orange mocha and tasted just like coffee with milk.
Then we paid waited about 10 minutes for our coffee, which was no big deal but then they gave us the coffee and we’re leaving and we had walked out the door when they had a customer tell my son the payment didn’t go through because their card reader was malfunctioning.seems sus they gave us our coffee and took other people’s orders then told us it didn’t go through. They have lost a long time customer!!!

I came in to grab something quickly before moving on to work from home but the vibe was so excellent so I decided to stay for the afternoon and work here! Not too loud, lovely plants and art all around, great coffee, sweet baristas. I had an almond croissant the size of my FACE and one of the holiday-flavored drinks (vanilla coriander latte) and they were great. I also bought a couple ounces of loose-leaf tea as gifts for some friends. Will definitely be back to work/create.

UPDATE: back again to co-work with a friend and she’s a big fan now too!

Mocha wasn’t bad, but could have been steamed so all the flavor was mixed in (instead of settling at the bottom). The cafe au lait is weak sauce. Pastries are the standard ones all the coffee shops order (from Scratch, I think).

Outstanding coffee all roasted in house. Highly recommend their signature “Headrush” coffee.

Quite a treat when my kids get to see coffee beans roasted as well. A must when we go through KC
