So disappointing. This review is about the fried noodles. We used to love the Fried noodles with garlic shrimp. The fried noodles used to be more like fried saimin (like S&S noodles) and was the best until recently. They now use the yellow pancit noodles which are hard and have no taste. Also my noodles was drowning in 1 inch of oil across my whole plate. I took 2 bites and tossed out the rest. Never again.

Food is alright if you’re in the area nothing worth going out of your way for. Lady behind the counter spent a minute on her phone before taking our order even then she was a grouch. Surrounded by a pretty ghetto area so I assume most of the positive reviews are from those who grew up on a diet of Vienna sausage & spam.

Our review of HC drive inn in waipahu. We had Lunch today with my wife and 9 year old Granddaughter. Frankly we haven’t been here for 20+years. My wife Wanda was in the mood for a Good Hamburger Steak. So we went to the HC Drive Inn.
First, when you drive up. The front looks like a local drive in.
But when you walk up it looks like a cigarette and Liquor Store?
Second, We were Confused What is this place?
We were about to leave. When someone came out of a door to the left of the window. And said come inside to order.
Inside is a covered dining area, with No Service and No Restrooms. Not Good.
Third, We looked on the wall at a menu and pictures of food.
So we ordered.
Mini Hamburger Steak with Rice and a scoop of Macaroni Salad. It was Bland and Tasteless $10.50.
Fried Noodle with Mandoo. It was okay nothing special. $16.00.
BBQ Chicken and Garlic Shrimp Combo with rice and macaroni salad. It was good, the BBQ Chicken was well marinated but slimey. The Garlic Shrimp was good, the rice and macaroni salad was good and a scoop of canned corn. $21.00.
Total $49.50.
This is way above the Priceline for a place like this with no service and no restrooms.

Always stop by to pickup the Braddah-moco (a locomoco with corned beef w/onions, instead of the beef patty). Always to go cause the inside sitting area a bit dated with no air conditioning.

I like their Hamburger steak. The gravy is what sells. I tried all the mix combos and it’s I keep going back good! Even the noodles by the pan and chicken wings call in orders a must!!!!
