First time at HB today. It’s so nice when you walk in and you are warmly greeted. Staff, such as Julio, are attentive and take pride in what they do. Service is definitely 5 stars.
We had beef enchiladas and steak fajitas. The portions are generous – we are in Texas after all :).
I would give the actual flavors a 4 out of 5.
Will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, amazing service and some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Micheladas are so good too.

All of the food was very yummy! I was pleasantly surprised by the guacamole and pork belly, its well seasoned and fresh. Our waitor was also very accommodating. I haven’t tried their drinks or desserts, but I’m certain they’ll also be great.

Came to have lunch and no wait time. Ordered beef enchiladas that were really good. I also ordered a carne guisada taco. It was cold and the sauce isn’t authentic carne guisada…unfortunately it was dark colored and looked like bbq sauce. Wouldn’t recommend the carne guisada platter or taco.

We went after a doctor appointment around 1:50pm. Aside from one other couple it was just the waiters there. So, service was quick. I had to ask the waitress to give us time to review the menu as we had not been there before. We’ll, at least this restaurant because it had previously been an Asian place and then Barcenas. We ordered nachos and two drinks. The chips were good. The (very) green salsa was okay and the other salsa wasn’t spicy. The nachos tasted good, almost like Barcenas in Texas City. Well, I was surprised to find that the receipt had Barcenas’ name so I asked the waitress who said that the food was the same just the name was different and they still had to change it on the tape. Oh yeah? Hmmm…interesting.
