Limited menu, but surprisingly fancy. Right at the top of the gondola and Thunderhead Express. The mac and cheese was very unorthodox but still quite good. Nice sit-down restaurant to take a break from skiing.

Good food, good service, prenominal views. Great looking vintage bar. It’s a sit down full service restaurant on the peak of a major ski resort (Steamboat) so of course it’s on the pricer side.

This WAS our favorite lunch spot. Brian was an incredible bar tender. He made you feel at home. We looked forward to our time at Hazies. Then Brian moved on and Hazies closed. They say that’s temporary, but it’s been three seasons. We experienced an unexplainable event once and it was cool. We miss you Hazies.

The better the view, the worse the food.

It’s drop dead gorgeous up here. Expensive food, but worth it for the view.

Great romantic fine dining restaurant at the top of the mountain but so expensive that I would only go for special occasions. Even the ride up in the gondola was beautiful seeing the city below in picture-perfect quietness. We ate here as part of the Moonlit Snowshoe Tour (highly recommend), and the waiters went out of their way to make our adult son’s birthday very special. We especially liked the grass-fed Colorado beef tenderloin. So tender you could cut it with a fork.

This place sucks. Ate here once and had awful food years ago. Today, we decided to give it another try – BIG mistake. We ordered our food and did not hear anything back from our waitress about the food for another hour until we waved her over and asked what was going on. We asked to have the food wrapped up because we had now been waiting an hour and had to get home. The bill comes out without anything comped, which we thought was fine because at least we finally had our food and it was wrapped and ready to go. We get home and we have the wrong order and a salad without any dressing. Unacceptable service, food quality, and prices. If you’re hungry on the mountain, there are SO many other places to go that are actually amazing, and if you’re in the same building head over to Stoker’s. Stoker’s always has great service and good food. Don’t waste your time and money on Hazie’s ever. Hopefully they’ll go out of business soon and a good restaurant can take their place!

Once a year we head to Hazie’s for the amazing sunset view and great food. 2018 spring break was different. We had 11 people in our crew and they were not busy. Started with out with the wine selection and went down from there. Asked for a pretty common bottle in the $150 range of wines had no stock and no good suggestions. We ordered the duck appetizers and they came out cold. The entrees were mediocre at best and the service was bad. The server was condescending so we asked for the manager and she could care less about our experience. The 3 prior years the food and service were amazing. She offered nothing to resolve our poor experience. This was our 4th year coming to Hazie’s. It will be our last until we get a good report from our local friends. We spent well over $1000.00 for really crappy treatment. I hope they figure it out. We were there in mid February.

Our family did the guided snow shoe tour 1/15/18 with the gourmet lunch included at Hazies. View was awesome! Food was delicious, and staff was professional and friendly. We all had a blast!
