Fantastic food, drinks and atmosphere with coworkers. Relaxing atmosphere with great music. Try the habanero wings and the Maryland cream of crab soup. Can’t wait for karaoke night.

I’ve been there several times so this is a general review. Whatever I order is always HUGE and DELICIOUS. My faves are the Liver and Onions and Chicken Marsala, the French Onion soup and for dessert the bread pudding with rum sauce. But on Valentine’s Day I ordered the Seafood Platter ($42) which is a 8oz crab cake, fish, oysters, scallops, shrimp, a side salad and grilled broccoli. Hey, it was Valentine’s Day and he said, “Get whatever”. Never tell a woman to “get whatever”. Plus I had the “drink of the day”. He had the steak and crab cake (8oz) platter. The steak covered half the plate and was done as ordered. His side was mashed potatoes and asparagus.
Waiters and Waitresses are great, always friendly, and eager to make sure everything is as desired.
Note#1: If you go on a Sunday, get there before one in the afternoon. Seems like it’s an “after church” place to go.
Note#2: Eat a light breakfast, don’t eat lunch.. save your appetite for Hazelwood. And even with that you’ll have plenty left over to bring home.

Nice bar/ restaurant with music, strong drinks and whole crsbs. There’s two sides to this restaurant, a dine in restaurant style side and a lively bar side. You can order crabs at the bar too! Plenty of parking. Reasonable prices. Always a good time when I visit.

I used to come here often with my cousin for happy hour and the crab specials. Unfortunately, the crabs weren’t good this time, but to their credit, they didn’t argue and removed them from our bill without any fuss. Maybe it just wasn’t the right season for them. I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll skip the crabs next time.

The service, however, was excellent. Our server was very attentive, had a great attitude, and truly knows how to treat customers. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Let me tell you something, the only things good about this place are the music and the people. The food is nasty, it came out cold, and wasn’t fresh. The sangria tasted like syrup. There’s this weird dude at the front door who doesn’t speak clearly and there’s no customer service. We couldnt est any appetizers until the they brought us plates, napkins, and utensils. Then we literally had to clear our own dishes to make space on the table. I used to love this place.

Diamond was a great hostess. The food took a bit longer than expected because they had large parties of people. No real complaints

Probably some of the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. The reviews are really good and the place was packed, so I don’t quite understand but even the drink I got was horrific. I was offended that they had the audacity to even serve me broccoli that looked like that I don’t leave bad reviews. It’s just that it was so bad. Also, it probably wasn’t the waitress’s fault, but the service was horrific. Bad enough for me to Want to leave a review.

Manager Yiota was unnecessarily aggressive and completely out of line.
My friend ordered his burger well done. It came out raw/pink in the middle. He didn’t immediately notice because he was extremely hungry and eating slowly, but he did eat about half the burger and most of the fries before the issue was caught.
When our waiter Rachel returned, she noticed the pinkness right away, apologized sincerely, and acknowledged that the burger was not prepared as ordered. Rachel immediately took responsibility, removed the burger, and asked the cook to prepare a replacement to-go. She handled the situation with professionalism, kindness, and care.
Five minutes later, Manager Yiota stormed over, stood over our table, and aggressively questioned my friend about how much of the burger he ate. Her tone was confrontational, inappropriate, and uncomfortable. There was absolutely no reason to interrogate a customer—especially when the mistake was the kitchen’s fault.
Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, and it drastically decreased the overall experience. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, she escalated it and made everyone at the table uncomfortable.
Rachel is the ONLY reason this experience wasn’t a one-star review. She was polite, observant, apologetic, and genuinely tried to make things right—clearly attempting to cover for a manager who lacked basic customer service skills.
Management like this drives customers away.
Staff like Rachel are the only reason people come back.

Hazelwood Inn has come up in office conversation several times over the years. I was lucky enough to remember it when passing through. Let me start by saying, their crabcakes need to be in all of our crabcake conversations when talking about the best.

If you need bigger lump, then you might actually want Alaskan King Crab or lobster or something. Their lumps are absolutely massive. If price is your concern, then you need to consider catching your own crabs. If quantity isn’t enough, then you may need to consider gastric surgery. I say this all in light-hearted fun, but the price per quality and quantity can not be beat.

The service was outstanding, and our waitress was on point the whole time. The lamb chops were as good as legends foretold. I actually was not interested at first. I tried one, and that almost changed my whole dinner game-plan.
