Spent the morning at VonBergen’s enjoying the last of the sunflower and you-pick and decided to find a place for brunch. So glad we did!
The place is super quaint and has indoor and outdoor dining. They only serve breakfast and close at 2pm.
We had a half order of biscuits and gravy and couldn’t even finish it. We also had raspberry mimosas which were tasty. Brought home a loaf of fresh baked bread and I am kicking myself for not getting a cinnamon roll for the road.
Noticed a bunch of cute antique stores on the main road so will def be going back to check it out.
Service was great, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Lots of street parking. Will definitely go back.

Hazel’s is one of our favorite breakfast places when we are in the area! The food is always fantastic and so is the service. You will not leave hungry! Everything they serve is baked in house. I recommend the eggs benedict and my wife loves the biscuits and sausage gravy which is served up in a 9 inch pie pan!! 10/10

Wait staff was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and helpful. HUGE portions. You may want to split something. The single pancake was about 8 to 10 inches across. Eggs Benny were some of the best I’ve had. Good sausage. Biscuits were heavy and gravy was good. Half order would have been plenty. Almost everything seemed to be homemade. I would go back but would order less. A little pricey, but portions were very large.

First timers here, brought in by the good reviews. Came by for a late(ish) breakfast on a Sunday. Their small lot was full but we found easy street parking. Service was good but not flawless. Seems they only had one waitress working our side of the room. The coffee service was quick. Ordered the cinnamon roll everyone raves about. Got the “boy” version with nuts. We ordered the #2 combo and the breakfast sandwich. Like others have said, the food was not only super good but the portions are huge. Giant pancakes, ultra thick bacon, sizable toast, etc. All very very good. At first the prices seemed high but I was wrong. Totally worth it and we’ll certainly be back. Five stars for Hazels.

Absolutely delicious food!! Will be back to try more of the menu. Group ordered their giant cinnamon roll (pictured), huevos rancheros scramble, country scramble (pictured) original eggs benny and a breakfast sandwhich. Service was a tad slow but our server had a great attitude. Cute atmosphere but a little tight in the seating section to the right when you walk in. Nothing to complain about whatsoever though! Great cheese selection, homemade breads, giant servings for a reasonable price.

This place has almost unbelievable breakfast dishes. The pancakes are the size of a pizza. The ham and eggs feature a full pound of ham plus the house potatoes. I had the senior biscuits and gravy with one egg, potatoes and coffee, and a bargain at only $10. The way that they serve the food in pie plates and serving platters is unique and necessary for the large portions. Family friendly and fun. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great coffee.

Family of 3 adults & we all agree that Everything was fantastic. Many food items were homemade: toast, pancakes, biscuit, sausage gravy, jams, etc. Food fresh to order & very large portions. Great bang for the buck! Everyone friendly and provided great service & our waitress was exceptional. We plan to return tomorrow it was so delicious!
