I had the shakshuka tart. I appreciated the uniqueness of this menu item. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. There are only a few tables. It is part of an old soda bottling plant and there are many other businesses in the warehouse.

I have made special trips for the amazing selection of sweet and savory buns at Haymaker. Particularly excited this family owned business is in the South End at the Soda Plant. I also love their first location in Middlebury. You don’t want to snooze on getting a fresh bun or have a breakfast sandwich made with their buns. I enjoy their coffee and many other items they offer.
Service is friendly, prompt and food is well executed.

I finally got to try some of the famous hot buns! We came in for the OG and it’s best warmed up. The place is super chill with great vibes. There’s plenty of indoor dining space. I’d totally come back just for the buns!

Excellent breakfast options. We’ve tried a few of their sweet bun options and all were fantastic. The savory buns are also great, especially when they’re used to make a breakfast sandwich.
As for drinks DO NOT miss the chai latte, I order it every time. That and the chocolate chip cookie. Goes to show that if you want sweet treats, support local businesses like this one.

So delicious! These buns are worth the hype, and I think they rotate their flavors, which means you’ll just have to keep coming back for new, delicious surprises. I got the blueberry jam with lemon poppyseed glaze and wow was it soooo good. The blueberry jam tasted homemade with actual blueberries in it and the glaze was perfect, loved the poppyseeds.
