Several friend groups were dining before we arrived, but it was not packed. Perfect for my kind of dine out experience.
Throughout the entire meal, she was always checking in on us without being intrusive. Our drinks were never empty, and she made sure everything came out exactly as we ordered. Even when the restaurant got busy, she stayed calm, positive, and efficient, which really shows how experienced and dedicated she is.
What stood out the most was her genuine care for her customers. She made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and her attitude truly made the whole experience better. You can tell she takes pride in her job and enjoys what she does.
Excellent service, great energy, and outstanding customer care. She is a huge asset to this restaurant, and I will definitely be coming back and requesting her again. Highly recommend!
May 25, 2025 Sunday
Friends told us about this place.
We went after church.
I love sushi.
I’m adventurous eating new foods.
We were told it’s “ALL YOU CAN EAT…”
I wanted to take advantage of the situation.
Not get ripped off.
There ARE rules.
I won’t try to explain here.
The mixed veggies looked like they were tossed on the plate.
The ordering was weird since we ordered,
Waiting a while
Then the food started to come.
But we had ordered more already.
So full afterwards.
I didn’t need to eat dinner.
Thanks HaYA!
The cuts of fish were so thin they fell apart, the nigiri being mainly rice. I am unable to eat a lot of rice, so that meant I did not get my money’s worth. Sashimi is now an extra .50 per piece, so it’s not economical to get on top of the $26 all you can eat meal price. Even the roll I got was mainly rice with a little bit of avocado and tempura shrimp, to the point all I tasted was the rice and eel sauce.
The quality of the fish was okay, nothing spectacular, and nothing that would draw me to come back. Ginger and wasabi has to be requested.
As I saw in other reviews, the floors were all sticky, including the bathroom, and under our table there were used chopsticks.
Our server herself, and everyone we encountered, was wonderful and kind, but we didn’t get the soup that we ordered. 🙁 We did ask about it but they never ended up bringing it. With an automatic gratuity I was hoping we’d get everything we asked for and refills.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience from ordering to the delivery of food. I chose the Kiss of Fire Roll and the Hot & Flaming Roll, both of which were visually stunning and exceptionally flavorful. The Kiss of Fire Roll brought a vibrant spice that paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients, while the Hot & Flaming Roll provided a delightful balance of heat and creaminess, accentuated by the drizzle of eel and spicy mayo sauces.
Each dish was meticulously presented, showcasing attention to detail in both preparation and plating. It’s evident that the chefs at Haya Sushi take pride in their craft, offering a dining experience that feels elevated yet approachable.
As someone who values cleanliness and ambiance, Haya Sushi delivered on all fronts. The restaurant’s polished interior and warm lighting enhance the overall atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for sushi lovers.
Haya Sushi has earned its place as a go-to spot for sushi in Springfield. With its excellent food, welcoming staff, and inviting atmosphere, I’ll undoubtedly be returning for another meal soon.
