Placed a large order. Every entree was well prepared. The serving sizes are large. The staff is patient, very pleasant, answers all questions, and very professional. The food was hot and served shortly (with a smile) after ordering. Nice atmosphere and music. GREAT soul food. Loved the red beans and rice, yams, mac and cheese, and fried catfish. Very tasty!!! Great seasonings. Will definitely visit again and again.

I wanted to love Hawt Cafe. As a Black woman-owned business with incredible buzz on TikTok and Instagram, I had high expectations walking in.
Unfortunately, my two visits left me disappointed.
On my first visit, I ordered the salmon bites with sides and lamb chops pasta. On my second visit, I tried the red snapper with sides. While the concepts sounded promising, the execution fell flat—the dishes lacked the flavor and depth I was anticipating based on the hype. Both times I visited, I was also disappointed to find that homemade juices and desserts were unavailable, which would have elevated the overall dining experience.
I understand that Hawt Cafe is a newer establishment and needs time to develop and refine its recipes and product offerings. I genuinely respect the mission and the quality of what you’re trying to build. However, these visits didn’t live up to the expectations set by the social media presence and the promise of the brand.
I’m rooting for you to succeed and hope that with time, the food quality and menu availability will match the energy and potential I see in this business. I’d be willing to give it another shot down the line.

…lemme tell you- I ordered from here for the first time yesterday via door dash- when i tell you, i was eating thanksgiving… I WAS EATING THANKSGIVING!!! food was phenomenal!!!! so good, that ima big back my way up there today so i can get it fresh- but even with door dash, travel time and all, food was FLAME!!! thank you, thank you, thank you-

Ok i finally got to try the red snapper here in the states and this place didn’t disappoint so it’s only sold on Friday I called to make sure they had some the young on the phone said they did so I hope in the car and when I got there they were sold out sad right as i turned to leave the owner made my night so much better she made a call and got some more snappers there and boi was it good my sides I went with Mac and cheese and candy yams thank you so much for your service the food was great
