So I’m not easily satisfied…and I rode the southern end of broad st in Churchill…I’ve grown tired of the riffraff restaurant…trying off the beaten path. Well, needless to say it was a bit complicated for me as I’m a picky eater and I’m not a pet person (I respect those who are) so it’s becoming difficult to find quaint restaurants without having to eat with an animal. I prefer not….to each, his own!

If I could give zero stars I would!! First off, the Frontline lady was amazing and super friendly, the best part of the visit! Secondly, the so called barbque ribs was truly a knock off and disappointment There’s not one taste of grill nor smoke taste only potboiled and oven. The way people talk about Hawks been the best, I’m not IMPRESSED by any means. Lastly, the homemade cole slaw wasn’t hitting on nothing, just as dry as ever. The can string beans was the best thing on the awful tray. I will never spend money at this establishment again.

I dont know who the cook was 4th July because I did not like my food. The bake beans was awful they taste like the bottom of a pot. The chicken was not good. (Burnt) Im speaking for myself. I eat here VERY often and I’ve never been disappointed. I don’t leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed. I will be back but I will come in so I can see who’s cooking. Your bake beans are usually very good. The service is always wonderful no matter who is at the register. The deserts have not been disappointing. I tried the banana pudding a couple weeks ago. I don’t want the cook to take this personal I just wasn’t satisfied. Have a good day. I had 4.00 off coupon. I had the 2 piece fish with 3 party wings fries and bake beans

Not sure whats going on with this place now days, last 3 visits have been horrible. I won’t be returning. They have been using old grease to fry the food and the mac and cheese is horrible now! Just cooked noodles with crumbled bits of cheese.

Just paid $17.83 for a 3piece whiting and collar greens. When I got home, had a 2 piece , fries and greens. 20 minute ride back to restaurant. Impossible to go back, need to return to work. Check your food before leaving. No apology was given for the mistake they made. Continue to be bless and watch how you treat others.

My husband got sick off of your fish. I don’t know if you cooked it in old grease or what. But he ended up with vomiting and nausea. Sounds like food poisoning. He didn’t eat anything else so we know it was the fish! Unfortunately we won’t be able to purchase again because we can’t take that chance! Our health is our wealth. We’ve eaten from you over the years. Usually your food is good! The fish was very boney this time around and we didn’t complain. It was supposed to be whiting but . Usually it’s not that boney and we didn’t get any bread to help with bones with our order.

Do NOT eat here. I heard about this restaurant from other people who have eaten here before. My coworkers decided that we should try out Hawk’s Fish & BBQ because it was popular. Well that wasn’t a good idea. When we received the food the food didn’t look appetizing. They both were unsatisfied with their food. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Mac & cheese and greens. The pulled pork sandwich had no taste. The Mac & cheese was burnt. The only thing that was good was the greens. After eating some of the food. I ended up getting sick from it and throwing up. Therefore I DO NOT recommend eating at this restaurant.
