Amazing food. We got the mix plate with Hulu Hulu chicken and Hokus bbq chicken and a beef yakisoba. Huge portions as seen, plenty for lunch and dinner. Each meal is about $20 and is two meals worth of food. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough and we will be regulars after this first visit. Plenty of room in the dining area.

I ordered the Ohana Feast for my mom’s birthday party and it did not disappoint. Everyone loved it, and it was such a nice, healthier alternative to a lot of typical takeout options. What really stood out was the attention to detail. Everything was packaged beautifully in sturdy, well-sealed containers, and they included a full pack of napkins and flatware plus a full jar of teriyaki sauce. They even brought it out curbside and were so friendly. And most important, it was absolutely delicious.

I ordered a chicken and rice lunch meal that also includes the macaroni salad. I also ordered spam. The food was good but not greater than the many Hawaiian food place I already tried. The macaroni salad was a disappointment to me because I generally love macaroni salad, but this macaroni salad at Hawaiian Style Grill is extremely bland. There is no flavor at all. I cant even taste the mayonnaise. I had to mix my spam with it just to add some flavor.

Food took more than 30 minutes. Just ordered chicken, yakisoba, 4 spam musabi and side of Mac. After watching ten people behind me get their order, ours was ready. They forgot the mac side. As for the food, the spam seemed microwaved with no sause. The seaweed wrapping was dry and they used twice as much rice as normal. Like they’d never had it before. The Mac tasted like Mac from a Fred Meyer tub. Half the chicken was dry and overcooked. I guess this is what a McDonald’s Hawaiian place might taste like. Probably okay if you’re expectations are low. Definitely not a 4 star experience.

The food was great and the staff was super friendly. Prices were reasonable and the portions were very filling and we ordered the smaller portions. ☺️ we’re not usually on this side of town but if we are on this side of town we’ll definitely be stopping by here again!

Food is absolutely delicious! Our only spot for Hawaiian in Vancouver. Favorites are the Katsu or Moco Loco, Mochico Chicken, Kailua Pork, and the Mac salad is a must to go with. I would love to give 5 stars, but service is lacking, but I dont think its the employees fault….
We have been coming here for years, and from what I gather, it seems the employees are in constant fear for their jobs, possibly from a very strict owner or manager, and its reflected in their service.
We always order take out, usually three to four “Ali” (extra big) sized entrees. Their plates are are huge and heavy, the to-go paper bags rip easily. After multiple occasions of having the bag rip and food end up on the ground, I now ask (and pay the extra .08 bag fee) to have my order in multiple bags. Even though I have no problem paying the charge for the bag, it seems like I am asking for a huge request, and its something they arent supposed to do. Even if I pay for 2 bags on the online ordering, it will be packed into 1, and have to ask for the 2nd. Im not trying to be difficult, I just want my food to make it home lol.
Same with sauces… each large entree comes with 2 to-go containers of Teriyaki sauce. While its tasty, my family is not a fan of sweet on meat, and prefer plain soy. I ask for 2 regular soy sauce containers, instead of the 8 teriyaki that comes with the order. Some employees panic and tell me they are not allowed to give out soy (but it is out for use when eating in) and teriyaki is the only option. I have even offered to pay, as I do for the schirachi.
I just wanted to point this out to the owner, your staff does not come across as happy and helpful, they seem to be on constant edge, and any request puts them on the offense.

Would be nice if the door or anything online said dine in was closed at 9pm but everything says 10pm. Kind of inconvenient when taking 2 kids out just to have to put them back 5 seconds later.. “you can still get take out” no i came here to sit down and eat, if i wanted to eat at home i would’ve just came by myself.
