This place is brand new so I had to try it since I’m always in the area. I was quite impressed, especially for the price ($12 for 5 scoops of protein). Avocado and imitation crab were free for the first scoop, and $1 extra for additional scoops. The staff were friendly. Will definitely be back to try it out more! Good addition to West Sac.

$11 for a small (3 scoops of fish) and they pack their bowls! I was pretty full. I love that they have mango as their topping and so many sauce choices. Seaweed salad and spicy crab salad is a nice touch. And avocado as a topping is not extra money!!! Yeah, probably one of the favorite poke places I’ve been in the Sacramento Area.

I was really excited to hear there was a poke place coming to West Sac. Unfortunately I was super disappointed after my first (and last) visit.
First off, they have the imitation crab listed as “crab meat.” When I asked if it was “actual” crab meat, I was told it wasn’t (if it’s imitation crab meat, you need to label it as such!) When I asked what type of meat it was, I was told “imitation crab.” I laughed and said that I understood it wasn’t real crab, but wanted to know what type of fish it was. Of course, not one of the employees could answer that question. So, I guess I wasn’t surprised when none of them could tell me if the salmon, tuna or yellowtail was farm raised or wild caught. Overall, it made me question if the salmon was actually salmon, the tuna actually tuna, etc.
This place is nothing more than the Subway Sandwiches of seafood. It’s simply a fast food joint dressed up to be a healthier alternative to McDonald’s. It is a great concept, but unfortunately executed with very cheap and low-quality ingredients.
Giving two stars because although the staff was clueless about the food, they were nice, the place was clean, and the food wasn’t horrible. And yes, it’s probably a healthier alternative to McDonald’s.

This place is wonderful! I love poke and this restaurant had wonderful tasting quality food. Our cashier was very sweet and the environment is very calm and peaceful. One of my new favorite poke spots!
