Amazing teriyaki chicken and steak! 10/10 recommend! Not heavily covered in sauce, which is a huge plus for my sensitive stomach! The mac was also delicious!
Large portions too – as you can see from picture, this will be 2-3 meals for me!

I had a 5 star review on here but this is the 3rd-4th time they have screwed up my food. I made myself clear with my order and it’s always a younger female screwing things up (no Mac/ all rice) and after driving and getting home just to find out that the rice is missing again for the 4th time. I contacted the store and the next time they can offer me is the rice that they have forgotten?
These females need to pay attention to the order but they’re too busy chatting with peers. I’ve contacted my bank for a refund.

This store is new to me and I have been in this area about 18 years! The food was delicious! Not a long wait for the order and the staff working were amazing and kind! My EMT and I stopped for lunch and I would highly recommend this place!! I will be returning here regularly!!

I’ve ordered from here several times and the quality has been great each time. I’ve also ordered for union meetings and received great feedback from all people in attendance. My only down mark is the Mac salad, it’s not as flavorful as others in the area. However the meats have always been perfectly cooked and not fatty. Dine in or carry out you HAVE to get some of the dole soft serve ice cream!

Everyone was very nice here! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the chicken teriyaki with rice and Mac salad was soo good. I do have to leave a 4 star review because I wish the portions were bigger like Local boys. I had to order an extra side of Mac salad because it doesn’t usually come with much. My friend also ordered the 3 meat trio and only got like 3 ribs! Definitely need to work on portions, but other than that, it was yummy!

Quick service, friendly staff (big shoutout to Mary for being awesome), yummy food, and nice portions.
Tried all three meats with the three meat option and got the Shaka waffle with dole whip. All the stuff was good and liked the ribeye the most! Wasn’t too dry and very flavorful.
Loved the dole whip too but the Shaka waffle didn’t look like the picture on the menu and tasted kinda chewy for a waffle.

This place is NOT good. I understand it’s a chain and caters to “local” tastes around here but that doesn’t make it good local “Hawaiian” food, which it advertises.
Chachas no longer had a brick and mortar off Coburg, Uncle Kalani is closed on weekends and I didn’t feel like driving to Tita’s in south Eugene (I should have!), so I ordered DoorDash and this was the only Hawaiian food that looked viable. As a gal who grew up with Hawaiian food, I promise you that this is NOT it. Flavors were bad. Even the musubi was bad. Both kinds of musubi I tried = bad.
It’s edible I suppose but for the price point this is NOT worth it. Even Panda Express makes better teriyaki chicken than this. Their short ribs were bad. Everything was so bad, but because it was DoorDash, I can’t say anything about the service. I’m sure they’re nice people with just horribly bad “fake” bland haole recipes.
Islanders, we know better than to eat here. We don’t go to places like this. And you know what? I knew better than to try to eat this food. That’s on me. I say try because I’m not finishing any of that bad food. I’ll stick to real Hawaiian food, thank you very much. Even “Hawaiian style” food is immensely better than this.

The spam musubi was incredibly disappointing. The spam was sooooooo thin. The rice was hard and dry. There was no nori. It was either old, refrigerated, or both. Wish I had a fresher batch. I’m really bummed that I got three.
