On a work trip in which I was having Tacos every night, having Hawaiian food for dinner was so welcome. not to mention, my trip to Hawaii was probably the best trip of my life.
I definitely over ordered. I got a Loco Moco with a side scoop of Kalua Pork, along with 8 Spam Musubis (2 to eat there, and 6 for the road).
The ambience is similar to a takeout Chinese restaurant in a strip mall, but I really enjoyed all the food I ordered.

First time trying the Hawaiian BBQ place and it wasn’t too bad! Not outstanding but it was good. The food was finished in about 15 minutes, it was served hot, and nice service. Menu isn’t super complicated, large portions, and we received everything we paid for!!
Dine-in, take-out, and online orders are offered!Also, being in the Yuma palms mall main plaza, there is outdoor seating too.
We ordered the Chicken Katsu, Spam Musubi, and the original Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. We got minis on both of our main dishes and they were GOOD sized. Dipping sauces were really yummy. I would ask for extra next time!

The place isn’t bad. Food was ok. Definitely a change from the hype of L&L, in San Diego. It certainly has a wider variety to choose from. Bathroom needed maintenance. One of the knobs on the faucet wasn’t working. Nevertheless, it’s a straight forward place to get a quick bite.

The food was decent. We got a plate with white rice, mac salad and bbq beef. It was very quiet and dim here. The girl who helped us was alright. The thing that bothered me was that there were gnats (or some type of small flying insect) flying above our food the whole time (see image for reference).

Yummy! I had the Seafood combo with the short ribs. Wow! The marinade on the ribs is amazing! The fried white fish and shrimp are pretty standard. The macaroni salad was very pleasant. The chocolate smoothie was full of flavor with a medium-dark chocolaty-ness to it. This is a great place to eat in Yuma! Restaurant was very clean and tidy looking. This is a wonderful, locally-owned business!

Ordered the BBQ plate & they only gave me a thin almost meatless piece of short rib. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’ve eaten here before with no issues, I’d rate Hawaiian BBQ a 1 star. The staff is nice but the girl (short hair chubby Hispanic girl) at the register was upset that I didn’t tip her for my take out order. Not cool at all! From here on out, I’ll be checking all my take out orders.

I ordered a # 5 with BBQ and Teryaki sauce. The Katsu and beef were my favorite of the three. I would recommend this for lunch break and it’s possible to share the plate amongst two people the servings were generous
