The food was excellent. Really big portions. I had the Teri Chop and Onion, my fiance had the Kalua Pig. Both were tender and delicious. The fried rice was amazing and the Mac salad was so good that we ordered extra to bring home with our leftovers. I’m glad we went early in the day…I can see why they sell out. The service was really great. They were friendly and conversation was easy.

Absolutely mouth orgasmic. From the first bite I knew that I would become a LOYAL customer. Service was like royalty. Atmosphere you say?
Special and extraordinary.
Meat was very tender and flavorful, vegetables cooked to perfection, mac salad was the best I have ever had from any Hawaiian restaurant.
Come here, or go to hell.
This heaven on earth.

Really good value for your money. Really appreciate they have a Gluten Free Plate, my wife is gluten intolerant, yes that’s what its called in the menu. It is pulled pork , rice and vegetables. It is the only gf item, but it is really good and huge serving. I mean like dense plate, enough for leftovers for us. I had loco moco, which was rich in taste and dwfn comfort food. Great value compared to most places in 3rd street which tend to be a little pricier – many locals/ college students picking up take out meals. Great service.

The food is always fantastic! I’m not a huge fan of Mac salad, but their Hawaiian Mac salad is absolutely amazing!

Hawaii 503 truly took care of us on our wedding day. As the bride and groom, it meant everything to see our guests smiling, well fed, and genuinely enjoying the meal. The kalua pig, shoyu chicken, kimchi, mac salad, and special rice were all incredible—people are still talking about how good the food was. Serving 225 guests so smoothly and right on time brought us so much peace of mind. We felt supported, relaxed, and deeply grateful. We can’t recommend Hawaii 503 enough.

I really like this restaurant. Cool little hide away cafe in trendy.Mcminnville.
Food is very ample, and most prepared well with many options to choose from in such a small place. However I would not recommend the pork adobo. I got a combo plate that included teriyaki BBQ chicken and pork adobo, and while the chicken was excellent, the pork was tough, dried out, and overly salted. For me it was uneatable. I’m guessing it was poorly braised, and/or the wrong choice of cut (too lean?), but far from the Filipino delicacy it was attempting to mimick. This was a takeout order so I didn’t have the ability to return it, out I would have.
I’ll be going back, but will be avoiding this choice going forward.

On the main Avenue of McMinnville this unassuming restaurant dies big takeaway business. Steady stream of customers including many firefighters, who know good food. Traditional plate lunch had many meat options. The Teri chop steak and onions was delicious and beautifully cooked. Even better was the delicate meat of the Shoyu chicken. Rice and traditional macaroni salad was included. Better yet, the crazy chicken, a breaded and fried cutlet topped with a sweet sauce. They really know how to cook. The servings were huge. We have enough leftovers for two more meals, each! Great service, delicious food in a casual atmosphere. Adding a photo. Sorry, had started eating before remembering to take a pic.

If you’ve ever wondered what regret tastes like look no further. Our food came out so fast there was no way it was cooked fresh. We ordered white rice, but the restaurant boldly reinterpreted that as dry, sticky fried rice that tasted like it had spent the previous night under a heat lamp.
The teriyaki chicken had the texture of a deflated bouncy ball – rubbery, bland, and undercooked. The mac salad was a true plot twist: soft vaguely plant-flavored, and featuring a surprise cameo by peas. We spit every bite out. I have never spit food out before. I prayed for my stomach before leaving to find another restaurant.
If you’re looking for adventure, mystery, and gastrointestinal suspense, this place delivers. Freshness, flavor, or anything resembling Hawaiian food? Not so much.

All the food was super salty, the fried rice , the pork, the ribs, the chicken fillets, I could only handle half my plate and drank all my water container, it was inedible and 25 $ wasted. My mouth is drawn right now and I’m feeling sick. I tried to combat the super saltiness with a sweet sauce but all the has was salty soy sauce and salty teriyaki sauce. This can’t be how food is served in Hawaii. This is extremely hazardous to your health. I eat at Hawaii time in Beaverton and it absolutely delicious. There is no way it’s supposed to be this salty. Not returning. This is absolutely unacceptable to serve this to a customer!
