Excellent Farmhouse Burger, crispy tater tots, and nice craft st. benedict’s breakfast beer. The beers have odd names, but are quite tasty. I asked for something in line with Guinness and the st. benedict’s breakfast was nice. Chairs at the tables are nicely padded.
I will be back.
I paired the sandwich with the loaded tots – they were an easy 9/10. Beer cheese, blue cheese crumbles, bacon jam and scallions… just fantastic. I washed everything down with a funky beer, farmstand pickle sour blonde and it was fantastic as well – such a good compliment to the meal.
The service is top notch and the atmosphere is relaxed and modern with an excellent outdoor seating area. Oh and the music was super chill, always a major plus!
Vecino popped up and offered food as well as beer. And here we are.
Parking, just go to the deck. Free. Busy stop on a Saturday night.
Walked in and found where the tour bus guys were, playing at Vecino. We enjoyed their choice of tunes, as it seems did everyone.
It’s a nice large space, in and out, tables were full but grabbed two bar seats, perfect.
Nice beer menu, Lots of Haws Brewing stuff, not sure what’s in house, I didn’t ask, but the choices were good. I enjoyed my beer, had a few tasters as well. All was good. Beer is a personal thing, so roll your own on that.
We had chips and salsa to start. The salsa was different, a bit thicker, very scoopable, saves your shirt, well mine anyway.
I went with the chicken sandwich. Made with a thigh. Hmmm I thought. The thigh is definitely tastier than a breast I’ve heard. So I tried it.
Well I’ll tell ya, THE best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Lol. And I’ve had a few. The in house pickles. The topping. The brioche. Good.
I raved so much the kitchen manager came out. Lol. That was a fun chat. The bar staff were attentive as well. Good stop.
I’d go back.
