As one of New England’s first dedicated Nashville style Hot Chicken restaurant, Haven’s menu lists five levels of heat so that guests can experience authentic Nashville Hot Chicken and Not Chicken flavor. Serving chicken and vegetarian options ranging from not spicy to very spicy, the menu is rounded out by traditional southern sides.

Never comming back anymore. I always get my food here but today I went in at 9:10 and ordered fuego fries and this woman that works there was already being rude saying that they are closing soon (they close at 10) and I’m sorrry that the only place that is open that is walkable is have hot. It’s always so nice to come to the store but haven in all is a bit pricey. The person behind the counter is so helpful and fast I have come to this haven a couple of times I keep coming back. If your coming in the summer being a sweater it’s always extremely cold in there no matter how hot it is outside

Excellent chicken and fast friendly service. It’s always served hot and fresh made to order. I’ll wait a few minutes for that everytime over some heat lamp places. Very high quality halal meat you can tell the difference from your standard fast food chicken. You get what you pay for, Id rather spend a little more and get much higher quality and larger portions. Great rewards points system too. My second visit I already had over $3 off built up.

Good tasting food, extremely fresh ingredients, but be prepared to break the bank. $20 for a meal, for the soda to come in a can. The Fuego fries are decently mild and have all the toppings: coleslaw, chicken cubes, sauce. Cute place, great service, decently clean!

– **Just as a disclaimer, I was invited to media day for the opening of this restaurant, so I acknowledge that my experience may vary from others since the opening. I had not visited the other Haven Hot Chicken restaurants in CT, but I am a big fan of Nashville style hot chicken and am glad it is getting more traction in the New England collegiate scene. The opening was used as a training for the employees and from what I saw, the staff was courteous and friendly. I had the sandwich in medium, a single tendie in haven, and a banana pudding (my favorite).
Hot tip: they actually have two additional spice levels called “off menu” and “double off menu,” but eat at your own risk. We witnessed two brave people trying it, and they had to briefly step out of the restaurant and chug boxed waters. Regular flavors are country (no heat), mild, medium, hot, and haven. They also have cauliflower nuggets and fuego fries (great that there are vegetarian options available too).

I love the sweet heat Mac bowl. it had the perfect bled of wow crunch and creamy wow cheese. The crispy, juicy, tender chicken had the perfect ratio of sweet and spicy flavors. Flavors so spicy they made my tongue sweat, but the Pumpkin Spice Banana pudding really cooled it down.
NOW DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE SERVICE, THOSE EMPLOYEES ARE THE MOST NICEST, KIND, AND RESPECTING PEOPLE IVE MET IN MY 30660 DAYS ON THIS PLANET.
My order came faster than I can eat these perfect portion sizes that kept full until I walked out the most clean, sanitary, and well lit bathroom.
I would recommend this restaurant to any 74 1/2 year old.

Unique taste with wide range of heat levels! I would recommend Fuego Fries as a must try It is a complete meal with fries, tendie and pickles and their signature Rob sauce. Single Tendie or Tendie Slider can be good ones for snacks. Overall, it seems a little pricey though the quality and taste of foods makes it worthy indeed If you’re in Storrs and fried chicken lover with Halal dietary restrictions, Haven Hot Chicken might be a good try
