Oh my gosh, my young children and I were staying at the Holiday Inn downtown, and we missed the in-house restaurant kitchen, which turned out to be perfect! We ordered doordash knowing nothing about this restaurant and now I know where to go whenever we’re in town, which is often!

I don’t often give 5 stars, especially to Johnstown Taverns as they often sell exactly the same thing as everyone else. The Haven takes it a step higher. The food was EXCELLENT! The atmosphere is nice, they have a satellite juke box with Bose speakers, they have an ATM and a scratch off lottery machine. The food is what makes the Haven what it is. Plus they have some very nice beers on tap, including Stella, Fat Tire, and Blue Moon. Locals love it and I totally understand!

The food was good, but not excitingly great! The cleanliness is very poor. The little plastic container where they put the sugar in is filthy a.f., the flies, Nats, and mosquitos is horrible inside the restaurant, and their napkins smell like black mold!!!

Went for lunch with 6 coworkers.
Food was fantastic. Everyone had something different. Noone had a complaint. Service was excellent. Open and comfortable spaces. Price was very reasonable.

They just keep making the food wrong. My partner and I used to love getting the salad that they’ll put any wing sauce on. We always get garlic parm. The last few times we’ve gotten it, they keep putting buffalo sauce on even though we specifically requested garlic parm. It also has a total of 5 singular fries, and a very light sprinkle of cheese. And we waited over an hour. This time was via door dash. Nobody at the restaurant hit the button that the food was ready, though it had been ready for 40 minutes. They also didn’t even know how. We had to drive to pick it up ourselves after already paying tips and fees through door dash because the restaurant didn’t know how to confirm the food.

This place used to be awesome, not so much anymore. I ordered a well done burger, it took 45 minutes and still came out pink. My girls food literally came a half hour before mine and even at her snails pace she was before my food even hit the table. I was charged 50 cents for extra pickles on my burger, it literally had 2 pickle chips lol. It’s sad how far this place has fallen. Now it appears to just be another jtown dive bar for locals to powder their noses whilst wasting their money on gambling machines.

The reuben was amazing! Homemade rye bread is what really made the sandwhich. Just don’t make the same mistake I made and order the full sandwhich! For the record, this ended up being 4 meals for me. I’d totally do it again, though.
