We tried Haveli with friends. It’s a new place, but I must say it’s one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. Intimate setting and service is excellent. Food is amazing .. the palak chat was out of this world. Bhel was unique, chicken momo was delicious. The desserts were amazing and unique. Overall super impressed and we will be back!!

Great to see more quality Indian restaurants in NJ and especially in North Jersey. The restaurant is located in a good location, with good parking space in the strip mall. The restaurant can seat 24 to 28 people.

Food was really good and prices were great. We ordered Garic Naan, Lasooni gobi, Tandoori tikka and Fried rice which were all good and good quantity too.

Took a bit of time to get it but considering the rush today it was okay. The service was good.

It’s a small restaurant with around 6-7 tables. Service was quick. Portion size is smaller as compared to other Indian restaurants of same category. We ordered- beetroot tikki, lasuni gobhi, aloo tikki chat, soup, mango lassi and brownie with icecream. Except for aloo tikki chat, everything tasted good.

The food was decent overall. The Dal Tadka stood out as a highlight, being rich and flavorful. The Veg Biryani and Paneer Lababdar were both decently flavorful, though they didn’t quite leave a lasting impression, they were good, but not extraordinary.

Service was excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant.

Ratings:
Dal Tadka: 4/5
Paneer Lababdar: 3/5
Veg Biryani: 3.5/5

I had a wonderful evening at Naveli Restaurant. From the moment we walked into the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles a rarity these days. Overall: great food, excellent service, and I’ll definitely be back. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the owner such a kind and genuine person who truly cares about his customers. You can tell he takes pride in the food and service, always checking in to make sure everyone’s happy. It’s rare to find that kind of warmth and hospitality these days. Highly recommend Naveli for anyone looking for delicious halal Indian food and great service!

Loved food! Really really good. Spicy, deep intense flavors. Clean, modern design, with comfortable food. My absolutely favorite was the ha paneer, lasuni gobi and mango avocado bhel.

We stopped by with a group of friends and ended up leaving as full-on fans. The thecha paneer was the star of the night — spicy, vibrant, and honestly to die for. The dal makhani had that slow-cooked, buttery depth that makes you want to guard the bowl like treasure.

The breads were super soft, fresh off the tandoor, and perfect for scooping up every last bit. And the chicken biryani? Spot on. Fragrant, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way biryani should be.

It’s the kind of place that works for everything — a cozy meal with family, a night out with friends, or even takeout when you want something truly good at home. Already excited to go back!

Honestly, so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! We were able to go when it first opened and the food was so good! The space is super clean which is important to us. all of the food was well balanced flavor wise which is hard to come by with a lot of local restaurants. The chana masala is the best I’ve ever had in my life! We are vegetarian and we ordered the palak chaat, lasooni gobi, methi gota, achari and thecha paneers and literally of all of was so good. The palak chaat was tempura fried so it was so light and crispy! For mains, we ordered chana masala, paneer labadar, and palak paneer which were all amazing. We can’t wait to try other options. The table next to us got the sham savera which looked amazing too. We were too stuffed for dessert but there were a few unique options we went to try in the future. 10/10 and we would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for really good Indian food in the area (which we think the area was missing until now)!
