This is the worst chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had, very dry, huge chunks, and with almost no sauce. The samosa had giant chunks of seasoning on it, making it too salty to eat. The naan tastes like it was microwaved. Don’t waste your money.

really appreciate the service, one of our party is really apprehensive on Indian food spices, so they were super helpful guiding them to non spicy dishes. very friendly through the entire time we were there. the food turned out fantastic. We tried several dishes all of them were delicious with plenty of leftover as well

We recently visited Haveli Indian Restaurant after seeing its impressive 4.8-star rating. However, our experience did not meet expectations from the moment we walked in. The ambiance felt underwhelming and did not align with the high ratings.

Despite initial concerns, we decided to proceed with ordering the vegetarian platter. Unfortunately, this too was disappointing—the potatoes had an unpleasant taste, suggesting they had gone bad, and the green chutney appeared to contain excessive food coloring.

Upon the staff’s recommendation, we also tried a curry, but it was served within minutes, raising concerns about its freshness. The taste reinforced our suspicion that it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Given these issues, we decided not to continue with our meal and requested the bill.

When we raised our concerns about the quality of the food, the staff insisted that everything was fresh and simply presented us with the bill, rather than addressing the issues. This lack of responsiveness to customer feedback was disappointing.

Overall, our experience did not reflect the restaurant’s high ratings, and we were left dissatisfied with both the food and service. We hope the management takes these concerns seriously and ensures better quality control moving forward.

I live on the east coast so naturally skeptical about ethnic food in the Midwest. Haveli did not disappoint! Ordered twice from the restaurant during my 1.5 week stay in the area. Food is made to order (i.e., it will be ready when you say you’ll be there…I arrived 2 minutes early and was told it will be ready in 2 minutes. Love it!). I’ve had a lot of Indian food in my days, and this place is great IMHO.

The BEST Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to, and trust I’ve been to many. Please go and get the chicken tiki masala if you’re just dipping your toes in, it’s a classic dish and a great dish to start with. I’m a garlic lover and the garlic naan was the best I’ve ever had it was perfect dare I say. Don’t get me started on the samosas…I dream about them.

This was our first time visiting, we went for the Chana Masala (my fave) but we also tried the Non Vegetarian Thali and everything that came with it was so delicious. The lamb in the curry was so tender! We did the medium spice level and didn’t find it very spicy, so we plan to increase our spice level next time, but this would be the perfect place for anyone that might be afraid to try something new because of the spiciness. Can’t wait to come back!

Food is absolutely delicious, perfect amount of spice. Some reviews down it mentions food not being fresh… but I watched the gentleman in the back make it to order through the curtain. The server was excellent and attentive. Garlic Naan, Mushroom Saag were fantastic. I like how clean the place is as well.

Friend told me that she knew of the best Indian food spot around… I believed her, but I should have trusted her WAYYY more. This place is easily worth the 40 minute drive. Delicious food, great atmosphere, cheap price. Do yourself a favor and come.

To me, this is the best Indian in Broad Ripple given the many changes over the past decade or so. The food is better than any of the others and they use more environmentally friendly containers if you get to-go. Support this place so I can keep going!
