Superb place, great food nice atmosphere and family vibe. A family run place, and while we were there it was one of the staffs birthday and family came by to celebrate and maybe say hi which created a nice human touch that is often missing in establishments. In the UK, curry houses have a feeling of family which just feels nice and super cultural yet often this overlooked in the States.
now onto the food. Nann excellent, perfectly cooked. Samosas – very good. Chicken Tikka masala , really good also along with Sagg Chicken, we didn’t have it but the sizzling tandoori plates looked delicious.
Service was great, food was excellent, the only thing I can knock is the lack of NA Beers / Drinks. NA is a massive segment and Haveli need to get on this.
I’m unsure if it was the owner but a person came to our table especially to ask if we were enjoying our meal – nice touch You can tell this restaurant takes pride in what it serves.
Prices – market priced, reasonable not cheap not expensive.
Founders also own Nann Curry which is pretty good also.
Will return.

I think this is my favorite Indian restaurant in Portland. Why? I think it’s the deep, rich, fullest flavor of every dish and every sauce. I have been here for dinner once with a big group and lunch twice. Excellent vegetarian choices that will satisfy vegetarians and meat eaters, and they have plenty of meat options as well.
They have affordable combination lunch thalis and they have even added cheaper lunch bowls.

Clean and bright restaurant with a lovely family business vibe. The food was delicious! One of the best Indian food experiences we’ve had in Portland. I had the chicken saagwala and my husband had the chicken tikka masala. The naan was perfect and we enjoyed samosa appetizers. Friendly and fast service – we will be back!

Clean, pleasant atmosphere with seating for singles up to fairly large groups, though overall capacity is limited—reservations are recommended. The pakora and samosas were above average, and the entrées had generous portions of protein, but the tikka and korma sauces were nearly identical in appearance and flavor, resulting in a more muted profile than expected. Service was friendly enough, though not especially attentive.

Delicious food, whether you are a fan of Indian food or not, there is something here for you. Incredible variety of flavor, comfortable atmosphere and kind and attentive service. The waitress Pooja was very friendly and hospitable and provided the best service! Mixed grill was the best meat I have had in a while and the butter chicken was sweet and flavorful. Do not miss out on this amazing culinary experience

Came in because I love curry and wanted to get lunch while waiting for the bus. It was very nice and I was greeted right away. Im vegan and appreciate when menus Cleary state what’s safe for me to eat. my waiter was friendly and the curry was the perfect comfort food for cold weather. I’ve had friends enjoy this place, and now I can say I have too ☺️

We stopped here on our drive back to Seattle from Crater Lake National Park and were pleasantly surprised by the authentic Punjabi flavors. We ordered dal tadka, palak paneer, and paneer masala, all flavorful and well-prepared. The highlight, however, was the samosa chaat, perfectly balanced in taste and texture. The mango lassi, with a hint of elaichi, was also excellent and refreshing.
