I live locally and was looking around for something different to eat for lunch. I decided to check this place out, and believe me I was not disappointed! As soon as I walked in to the restaurant, I was immediately greeted. Great customer service! I decided to jump on board with the Ropa Vieja and it was excellent! Really tasty plantains, and beans!! I’ve eaten plenty of Cuban food before and know whats good. The café con leche was smooth and definitely woke me up! It’s a small location, located next to a Mobil gas station, but has plenty of seating available. I had previously tried the breakfast buffet that they had at their other location and was impressed with that as well. I will definitely try something different on my next visit.

If you like the old school (good) McDonald fries, these are better and have great seasoning. The burger has two patties, personally I removed 1 (now i can make another at ) to improve the ratio – i believe it taste better with one less patty. Maybe they can offer it as a single and double .
Will definitely be back to try the cuban sandwich and some of then other menu options. The prices are reasonable and honestly more for your .
I would highly recommend pickup vs ordering for delivery as some of these items are better enjoyed immediately.

The high dessert has something worth coming back for! On the way back down the hill we were looking for something “different”…pleasantly surprised and right next to the gas station we stopped by Havanazucar intrigued by the cuban menu.
WOW- we got the potato balls, the cuban sandwich and the rabo encendido.
All of the dishes were flavorful, not too spicy but you can ask for spicy salsa on the side.
Location is small, better suited for drive thru.
Definitely worth stopping by!

I used the drive-thru. I was greeted at the window with a big smile and excellent service. Ordered 2 Cubanos (one not shown but it had fries). The food was hot, fresh, and very good. I didn’t try the fries but my husband said they were great. The plantain chips were very good too. The garlic sauce on the side was unbelievably delicious! Had a very fresh garlic flavor. Also ordered a side of sweet plantains. Perfection. Sweet, not mushy. I’ll be frequenting this restaurant and I’m looking forward to trying different items.

Loved my order the food was delicious the meat was was moist freshly made. I ordered a( Cuban sandwich ) ( Havana burger ) & (papa’s rellenos) all 3 items were delicious and the crispy bananas that came with the Cuban sandwich was really delicious especially with the garlic sauce they have for the banana chips garlic sauce has a similar flavor to some Mediterranean food style garlic sauce very delicious. The fries are even seasoned with garlic and some parsley or some green herb that pairs well with fries. The burger is thick juicy amazing burger id say with thick bacon slices way better then farmer boys id say I felt like I was eating healthier here lol. The stuffed potato balls are delicious with the sauce it comes with. They are crispy outside and mushy inside with its beef meat id definitely recommend trying. 11/14/25 tried the bistec sandwich i hoped for more meat in the sandwich but still good everything it had in it. I tried the croquetas and I can say i did not like those i was expecting for of a spicy flavor because it has jalapenos cream sauce on the side but it tastes more like ranch. The out side has a texture of a mozzarella stick the inside is very mushy does not even taste like chicken tastes more doughy very odd texture and doesnt pare well with the side of ranch id say or creamy jalapenos sauce but if I qas blind folded it say thats ranch sauce lol.

I have came 2 times now the first I got a rope Viejas sandwich, my husband a Cubano, and a hamburger plain for my daughter. It was all delicious and the service amazing.
Today 2/17/26 I ordered pick up from door dash my husband went with the Buena noche I believe it’s called and I got the bistec de Pollo with black beans and rice. I was blown away by the flavor of the chicken and black beans. You can taste the love and care they put in the cooking. Definitely will be going back often

Te la comiste! And so did I. Muy delicioso. Brought my dad here for an adventurous daddy daughter date and will definitely come back. The service was warm, welcoming, friendly and kind. The waiter even humored me with a smile as I practiced speaking Spanish. The environment is clean and beautiful with music quietly playing in the background. The menu has a great variety including lots of gluten free (though not marked) and vegeterian options. Everything was phenomenal in preparation and flavor. Food came quickly, fresh and hot, juicy and scrumptious. Dad had the Lechon Asada which he said was unlike anything he has tasted (in the best way possible), he got the arroz con gandules and said this side dish was also very flavorful. I had the Cuban Island Vegeterian Dish with yuca al mojo de ajo and maduros. The beans were not bland at all, the white rice even had flavor and the yuca was cooked perfectly. The mojo de ajo is excelente! I want to try everything on the menu. Estás acabando! Please tell the chef “Él es un monstruo en la cocina!” We were too excited to eat to take pictures. Next time tho.

This is Hesperia’s best kept secret. I ordered the cubano sandwich with fries. The sandwich and fries were both full of flavor and super fresh! Every bite was seasoned to perfection and on top of that service was warm and welcoming. Like a previous review, I was also greeted with a big smile and warmth. Truly an amazing experience.
