Wooooww… just on a whim, my son and I stopped in here. We ordered a family sized meat lovers pizza togo. Staff is very nice and the place is beautifully set up. Its more for couples as seating is very limited but comfortable. Now for the pizza…. dang it was really good, not like anything I’ve had around these parts, best way to put it, its like a Chicago deep dish with a twist. It’s got that beautiful crispy cheese edge with a ticker crust. Its absolutely amazing. The pice is slightly higher but your getting what you paid for. 2 slices would do the average human being. They have a pretty extensive menu too with the OG’s of Cuban cuisine, like the Cuban sandwich, all the good sodas, and some pastries too. Highly recommend to check it out for yourself!

I will tell you.. I have never had Cuban pizza before, but mannn ohh man, was it awesome!! I got the personal meat-lovers.. and it was delicious!! The Cubans sure know how to make a pie 🙂 it was only $13 for a personal pizza, but it is a very nice size. I ate 2/3 and I am stuffed!! Great pizza. Definitely be back!

Very nice lil’ “mom n pop” shop. Don’t be fooled by the size. They are very good at making “Cuban Pizzas” . Very unique and tasty. I have never been a big fan of Cuban pizza, however this place has changed my mind. Very well made Cuban pizza! I have had their “Pan con Lechon” sandwich (Cuban roast pork) very good!
And their Pan Con Bistec(Cuban steak sandwich) also very well made! This shop has also makes good Cuban coffee and EXCELLENT shakes, the mango and as very good!

I’m a very picky eater straight from the homeland and have been to many places that claim to make the most authentic cuban pizza. Im here to tell you that THIS is my number one, great atmosphere, fast service, and most importantly, very very authentic taste. For context, I’ve only had the cheese pizzas from here thus far, but they also serve sandwiches and spaghetti alonf with smoothies, coffee and such. Not a single bad experience.

I had an amazing experience at Havana Slice! From the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. The girl at the counter was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond with her recommendations, suggesting customizations that made the food even more flavorful. You can really tell that everything here is made with love—the flavors were bold and delicious. The pricing was incredibly reasonable, the sandwich was massive, and the milkshake was very good serving.
We got the Cuban with the sweet bread and the guava milkshake, and both were absolutely delicious. We’ve only been once, but we haven’t had food like this since visiting the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. I was shocked to taste fruit that fresh, that instantly brought me back. You can tell the owners have created a little piece of home right here in Port Charlotte. Can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the food—everything is made from scratch and packed with flavor.
Beyond the food, the entire experience was fantastic. The restaurant is clean, the service is impressively fast, and it’s clear they take pride in their business. They’ve invested in their marketing, and it shows in the attention to detail. I can’t speak highly enough about this place—you absolutely cannot miss this, if you go to Port Charlotte or Punta Gorda, it is worth the trip. I truly hope this place gets to be as popular as it deserves to be!

The best hot dog we have had in many years. Would not have ever thought I would have liked the combination but was delicious. Pizza was crazy good also. One thing to know it is a small restaurant with limited seating but service was great. Definitely will be going back.

The absolute nicest young lady was a delight explaining the options, and the food was amazing. I had HALF a personal pizza, leaving yet another day to enjoy this amazing international delight! Washing it down with the freshest guava smoothie was an unexpected treat!
