I was driving by and noticed the walk-up ordering window, so I turned around and decided to stop, and I’m so glad I did.
I enjoyed a chicken empanada, a guava and cheese pastry, and a croquette. Everything was tasty and satisfying. The service was super friendly, which made the experience even better.
It turned into such a simple but enjoyable little moment, sitting on their bench, eating my food, and watching the traffic go by. Sometimes the unplanned stops are the best ones.

I’m always on the hunt for a good Cuban restaurant to satisfy my cravings, and Havana Restaurant definitely did not disappoint! The batido de mango was absolutely delicious, and the bistec empanizado was perfection…crispy, flavorful, and just how it should be. All the food was amazing, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I believe this was our second visit, though the first was many years ago, and it was just as great as I remembered. Las mariquitas were delicious. The frijoles colorados were nice. The fried pork was moist and tender, needed a little salt. The ropa vieja tasted too much like tomato sauce. El cortadito was bitter. La crema catalana was eggy and overcooked.

Was in-town for work and wanted to try a Cuban restaurant. I was not disappointed. I wasn’t sure what to order. I asked the Waitress for advice. She asked me the things I liked and said she would bring me something authentic. Food was so delicious. Service was excellent. Will definitely stop here again.

We ordered whole fried snapper with red beans and yellow rice. 2 orders of oxtails with red beans and yellow rice. A side of plantains and a side of Yuca. It was a to-go order. After returning home, was going through the food. Spooning through the red beans, only to find a ROACH. Yes, a roach. Called the restaurant and complained about it. They asked did we want to get a refund? Duh, of course, and you can have all this food back, including your roach. We used to love this place. But, it only takes one bug to keep me from ever going back.

We came off of I 95 looking for a place to eat, I seen Havana had really good reviews & ratings so decided to try it out myself along with my son and mother who was with me. The atmosphere was lovely, food was good, and our server Andrew was very patient, kind, & knowledgeable of everything that was on the menu. We did not have to wait long at all for our food. We definitely will be back.
