This is the first time I have eaten here and I am a food connoisseur. I am blown away with how delicious nutritious and loving this food is. Even homemade key lime ice cream. I had the beef plate. I highly recommend. Atmosphere was nice and clean music not too loud very light and airy. Incredible experience all the way around

The lady working the front cash taking orders was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful, and was incredibly polite.
The food was delicious and perfectly cooked!
The only negative thing to mention is that there was a younger guy working who seemed to keep looking at us a bit weirdly, so that was a weird vibe, but maybe he was just friendly. Wasn’t much of a friendly look though.

I have been to Havana Cabana Cuban Café in Kanab and it was excellent. You place your order before you are seated, which keeps things simple and helps everything move smoothly. I liked how easy it was to get settled and enjoy the food without a long wait.
The food itself was very good. I had a traditional Cuban dish and was genuinely happy with how authentic it tasted. The flavors were rich, the rice and beans were cooked perfectly, and everything came out hot and fresh. It was clear that a lot of care goes into the cooking.
The restaurant has a small, clean, and cozy feel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they made sure everything was right with our order. It felt like a place run by people who actually care about what they are serving.
If you are in Kanab and want something different from the usual options, this is the place to go. I was very happy with the entire experience and would absolutely go again.

Zero wait! So nice. Super great food, tasted homemade. Try their omelets! The pecan pie is great there, too. Located in the heart of Kanab. We eat here every time we visit Kanab. Cozy, festive little place.

We ordered the Cubano and 2 coffees (as pictured)
It’s our first time eating Cubano after a long time of wanting. The food is really incredible, the fries were the perfect balance between crispy and soft! And the sandwich was just Perfect! (Especially if you add a little hot salsa from the table)
The coffees were as strong as a slap to the face (after having to endure weak coffe for 3 weeks, reminds me of Italian espresso)
Strongly recommend!

We were traveling through Kanab from Utah to Arizona and struggling to find healthy, clean meals on the road. By chance, we stopped at Havana Cabana knowing we wouldn’t find much good food until Flagstaff and we were pleasantly surprised! It’s unassuming when you pull up and doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that fool you, the food is excellent. We ordered a veggie omelet and a breakfast burrito for breakfast made with fresh ingredients and no cheese, which we really appreciated (note: we love cheese, but most restaurants use fake cheese or way overdo the cheese portions on meals). The restaurant was clean, the food was fresh and flavorful, and the lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Havana Cabana if you’re looking for an unprocessed meal while passing through Kanab, Utah.

Excellent authentic Cuban food, fresh high quality ingredients, mostly vegan, affordable prices, fast service, pet friendly outside dining, convenient location, pulled port and chicken traditional dishes were excellent t! so happy we tried this place during our stay!

I can understand some people are still suffering from taste lost after COVID, but unless you are used to eating cardboard, I do not recommend you ordering the Cuban plates. I was hoping to be surprised finding a Cuban joints in this little old Hollywood wild wild west town but it was the wrong surprise unfortunately. Whomever gave the Cuban food here 5 stars needs to go to Miami and try the real thing.
I had the Cuban steak plate, it was no steak, it was just small pieces of tough beef, the only thing legit was the flavor, sour orange and you can taste that in the pull pork too. The pull pork plate on the other hand was ok, dry. The Cuban sandwich was OK, but it was with the same dry pull pork. The bread was a little old, tough and chewy. I think they make better burgers and fries here.
