What can I say, food amazing, service super sweet and place super clean and pretty. The tamal was huge and delicious. We got the huge cuban sampler and wow that is a lot of tasty food. The bistec a la palomilla was huge and super flavorful. Black beans were perfect in everyday. The churasco was also very well cooked and full of amazing flavors. My wife and I came down for just the weekend from Philly and had some pretty bad cuban food until this place. They saved the day on our last day in town. Being Cuban myself, we don’t have this food up north so I try to take advantage when we come down. This is a must go if you’re in Tampa area.

The food was seasoned perfectly. My family enjoyed trying different meats and all were tender and delicious! It was my first time having a Cuban coffee and I’m now hooked. Only difficulty here was our server knew very little English, which made it hard to communicate with her. Otherwise, highly recommend this restaurant.

I don’t think there were property staffed for a Monday afternoon.
We asked for Yuca Fritas but they never came out or placed on the bill.
Not sure of it was due to the language barrier or not.
Definitely would go back for the food. There was lots of dishes to chose from and everything was reasonably priced.

We ordered food via DoorDash from here and aside from it being a tad cold, the taste was AAAAAMAZING! First time in Tampa and my FIRST Cuban food ever and I’m so happy we decided to go here to get it. Im very picky with flavor but the flavor of everything here was just on point.

We were told to pick a table and sit down and we were not attended to for 10+ minutes and when a table behind us that got sat after us got service and drinks before we did we finally took that as our queue to get up and find somewhere else to eat. They did give us menus and threw some waters down on the table but that was it. No one assured us they would be with us soon/let us know they were short staffed (?) but completely ignored our table. I even made eye contact with a few waitresses to see if anyone would bother coming but nothing. If all tables were being ignored equally it would be different but tables coming after us getting served first while we were waiting 10+ minutes to just get something other than water on the table was insane. Even if the other tables had reservations or something it’s still a terrible look honestly. It was a super unwelcoming environment. We took our business down the road and got 10/10 service and food and the vibes were a lot nicer. I really wanted to try this place but I guess it wasn’t meant to be!
Edit: “4 minutes” is a long time in food service especially if your waiter doesn’t even show up and starts serving people behind you who showed up after. I left my bag on accident because of how badly I wanted to get out of there. Also, I hope you still don’t have that waitress who writes Gringa on the bags per other reviews lol. Have a blessed one !

Food is amazing. Manger is horrible. If something comes out wrong, it’s never his or his staffs fault, it’s the customers fault. He doesn’t offer compensation, to swap out, etc. it’s just poorly run. His employees also have nothing good to say about him. , which shows a lot. We love the food, we continue to go hoping it gets better. If it does I’ll change my review.

This place is clean. The menu has variety of beef, poultry, pork and seafood. The food is fantastic and expedited hot in a timely manner. The service is always very good and all servers are very friendly and dressed alike. They are open until late when other places are closed. I had a tamal and a steak sandwich with a passion fruit juice. Try it! Enjoy!
