I was recently delivered a box of chocolates along with flowers from my husband and was pleasantly surprised at how amazing each assortment was! I love that they are local here in RI. What a lovely “hidden gem” to have found! While out to lunch with a friend downtown, I mentioned wanting to grab chocolates somewhere for a friend who needed a pick me up. I was shocked when I googled “chocolate near me” and realized you guys have existed so close by all this time. Had a lovely experience at your store filling a box of truffles, the young woman working was so kind and told me how you are a third generation, family owned business. I’m so happy to see people living out my childhood dream, and I’ve told everyone in my local social circle where the “new” spot to buy chocolate and candy is! (Oh, and delicious truffles with very unique flavor options!!! The important part of the review )

My fiancé and I really enjoyed our experience at Hauser and loved the chocolate truffles! The lady who packaged our chocolates was super kind and gave great recommendations! We found it really fun to learn about the history of chocolate and the company’s history through! The raspberry port wine truffle has been our favorite so far. We will definitely be back during the holidays for gifts!

Went in and was pleasantly surprised with the store. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. The choices, selection and presentation are great. Seeing it was for my wife for Valentines day. I am told we will need to go back when we are in the area. Cost is fair for the high quality.

Ordered chocolate truffles from here for our special event, because you can’t beat the product quantity x price (trust me; I searched high and low online and locally). Ordered the cocoa powder covered raspberry truffles and blueberry port wine truffles to test run the product – ❤♡♥WOW DELICIOUS♥♡❤ these are HIGH QUALITY chocolates and OH SO very VERY GOOD. I contemplated not writing a review to selfishly keep this gem to myself, but honestly wouldn’t be fair to Dan’s Chocolates! Will be ordering a lot more soon! Thank you!!!

Wonderful chocolates, wonderful small business. From the truffles to their exclusive “chocolate lace” to the silly confections like Nose Worms, Hauser truly has a treat for everyone. (Including sugar-free options) Priced reasonably for the quality. Plus, in the shop, there are usually a few discounted items for things that taste perfect but maybe aren’t ready for a magazine cover, what might be called “seconds.” Hey, I will take seconds of Hauser chocolate, any day! Custom orders are an option, BTW!

Don’t expect a call back from this company. I’ve left FOUR messages plus sent an email regarding charges I’m disputing with no reply. Not a good look especially considering I’ve been ordering truffles from them for almost 8 years!! Definitely not the customer service that Dan’s Chocolate use to provide, one new owners/new management came in the great customer service went right out the door.

Shopping local at Hauser’s is fun but can be a challenge to the waistline since the chocolate truffles are so scrumptious. I’m looking forward to their artisanal distilled rum which should be coming out soon.

Tried at least three times to order Christmas chocolate lace. They even took my credit card number and told me the sale was complete the gifts never arrived it never showed up on my credit card. Their service is horrendous
